“Doctor, why is she twitching like that? Is she going to be fine?” I asked. “Trust me, Ma’am. She is going to be fine. It is obviously the sedatives working on her after some minutes she’ll be more calm.”
“Doctor. I am scared. She is my only daughter and she is already going through a lot and it pains me as a mother to see that there is nothing possibly that I can do to help her out.” I cried out and turned back to be sure Roco wasn't seeing any of this. Good thing the maid had already taken him outside to go get ice cream.
It would be really bad and it would also have affected him if he had seen his mother in that terrible condition. I couldn't allow that myself.
