Do It For Us
Alina’s POV
"I need you to do this for us, Alina.''
I heard my husband say as he held my hand across the kitchen table, and for a moment, I
thought I didn’t hear him right.
"What?" I asked, trying to laugh it off.
"Do what?"
Ryan’s eyes met mine, and from the look I could see in his face, it was desperation. Ryan was
that desperate.
"It’s just one night," he said.
"I want you to sleep with Damon Cross. He’s the CEO I told you about. He’s ready to invest, but
he… he asked for something personal in return."
My smile froze. "Personal?"
He nodded once, looking down.
"You know what I mean."
My heart dropped as i pulled my hand away, standing slowly.
"You’re joking, right?" I asked as they whole thing didn't make any sense to me.
He didn’t answer. The silence between us went on for a while.
"Ryan," I whispered, my voice shaking,
"I’m your wife."
"I know," he said quickly, standing too.
"But this is for us, baby. For our future. For everything we’ve worked for."
I stared at him, my chest tightening. He looked like the man I fell in love with, but somehow, he didn’t sound like him anymore.
I shook my head.
"You can’t be serious.
Ryan walked closer, his hand cupping my cheek like he always did when he wanted to calm me
down.
"I wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t important. You know how hard things have been. We’re drowning,
Alina. I can’t lose this deal. He said it’s just one night, and after that, everything changes."
I wanted to slap him to reset his brain and tell him no. But I didn’t. Because for years I’d been
the one holding everything together. His late nights, his broken promises, and his dreams. I’d
believed in him when no one else did.
"Ryan," I said softly, my voice breaking,
"how do you expect me to do that? How do you expect me to lie down with another man when
I’m married to you?"
He rubbed his forehead and looked away.
"I didn’t say it would be easy. But you always said you’d do anything for us. For me. Please,
Alina. Just this once."
My heart cracked and I just turned away so he wouldn’t see the tears falling.
After a long silence, I whispered
"And what if I say no?"
Ryan’s voice hardened.
"Then we lose everything."
"I really can’t believe you’re doing this to me."
He stepped behind me, his hand sliding down my arm.
"You’ll thank me later. You’ll see. This is for our future."
That night, I sat on the edge of our bed, staring at the small silver bracelet Ryan had placed on
the dresser. It was a gift he said was for luck. I didn’t know he’d already planned to use it for
something else.
The day assigned for the night finally came and I just looked at myself in the mirror, the same
face I’d seen since childhood. My mother had left when I was eight and my father started
drinking and gambling not long after. I was left to take care of myself and my only little sister. I’d
promised myself I would never be like her, running away from pain. So I stayed.
I married Ryan Gray, believing he was different. He had dreams, just like me. He made me
laugh, made me feel seen. Until love became sacrifice, and sacrifice became silence.
Now here I was, wearing a silver gown I hated, getting ready to meet a man I didn’t know.
When Ryan came in, he looked at me as if he couldn’t even see my pain.
"You look beautiful," he said.
"Ryan," I whispered,
"please… don’t make me do this."
He didn’t answer. He just kissed my forehead and said, "Don’t mess this up."
He had even drove me to the hotel by himself. I rushed to the room assigned for us trying as
much as possible not to meet anyone that might know me as the dress I was wearing was too
revealing.
When I walked into the room, the man was already seated there
"You’re late," That was what he said as soon as I got in.
‘I’m sorry,’ I whispered.
He poured a glass of wine, handed it to me and beconed me to seat.
I did, my hands shaking slightly.
"I know this isn’t what you wanted," he said after a while,
"But you’re here now."
I nodded, because I didn’t know what else to do. He stepped closer, with his eyes on my face.
"You don’t have to pretend" he murmured.
When he touched my chin, my breath caught and I tried to look away, but his eyes were fixed on
me.
He took a step closer, and his hand slid up my arm, until his fingers found my jaw. His lips came
to mine slowly and he soon started to kiss me.
I wanted to push him away, but my hands didn’t listen. He pulled me closer until there was no space left between us. The warmth of his skin, the way his breath touched my neck, it all made my body tremble. His hands grabbed my waist firmly and unzipped my dress.
My body shivered as his hands found it's way to my boobs. Popping them out of the bra that held them in place.
Then his lips trailed lower until it was under me. His breathe made me shuddered before he
finally started kissing my c**t. After a while, he removed his belts out of urgency, pulled down his
shorts and skidded into my p***y in a deep thrust. He went on and on until he was breathless.
The night felt long, and when it finally ended, I lay still, with my eyes open, staring at the ceiling.
I didn’t cry and I didn’t move. I could barely sleep until it was morning, and when it was.
I looked into his eyes to see the Damon Cross. His hair slightly messy, and his eyes still
half-asleep.
That was when it hit me, the full weight of what I’d done. I stood, quickly pulling on my dress
quickly and trying not to make a sound.
I was almost at the door when his voice stopped me.
"Wait," he said softly.
I froze.
"You’re not going to disappear on me, are you?"
My heart jumped.
