I had to make him get rid of that narrative from his head. I didn't want him to think that I am doing everything because of Hannah.
"I am not doing this for anyone else but for you. " I told him but he shook his head in disagreement.
"For me? How?" He implored.
"I just want to make you happy. If it were up to me, I would never go to this dinner in the first place,"I told him.
"Stop lying to me, I know that you love Hannah. I can see it in your eyes," He insisted.
