"Okay, I accept," I finally told Jack.
I was not on board with the dinner thing but after he started asking so many questions, I had to agree to it.
The last thing that I wanted was for him to suspect that there is something going on between me and Lily. That way I would have blown my cover and all this would affect the relationship that I have with Lily currently.
No, I cannot risk it.
"Are you sure? Why were you hesitant at first?" Jack asked me, maintaining eye contact so that he could get the entire truth from me.
"Yes. If you are sure that your dad has changed to be a good person then I want to sit at the same table as him. " I told him.
"Okay. " He said in satisfaction.
"How is Lily?" He asked.
"She is fine. I hope that you will bond with her in the dinn
