After, Dean and I had our little talk. We ran home. The pack was still waiting for us far enough away so they couldn't hear us.
As soon as we walked into the packhouse, Dylan started sniffing the air.
"Do you smell that?" Dylan asked. I smirked and smelled the air.
"No man, what do you smell? I some Dean and his sent of mint and sandlewood. What do you smell?" I asked then the b***h Bretrude walked in sniffing the air. I couldn't help but growl.
"Tell me your not smelling her," I said.
"Yes, do you know her, Sabrina?" Dylan asked.
"We had the displeasure of meeting when I was in my heat." I said. "Anyways, Dylan. Meet Bretrude. Your mate. Bretrude, meet Dylan, my husband and your mate. Dyl, I will have the papers drawn up and ready for you tonight." I said, then gave Dean a hug and a kiss bye. As I ran off to draw up the papers and call my lawyers.
About an hour later, I knocked on Dean's office door.
"Come in, Sabrina," Dean said. So I walked in.
"Hey um do you have a fax machine I could use? I don't want to have to run these to my lawyers' office 3 hours away. Though I suppose it wouldn't take as long if I ran in lycan form." I said, thinking out loud.
"Oh sure. I can take you to work with me tomorrow." Dean said, smiling.
"You know I have been here about a month now and I have no clue what you do. How do you make money for the whole pack?" I said. Dean smirked.
"You know of Kimber Enterprices?" Dean asked. I nodded.
"Wait you work there?" I asked. Dean just smirked more.
"No. I own it." Doug said.
"Wait, your last name is Kissinger, I thought," I said.
"Yes I am. My mother is Surah Kissinger. Or was before she mated and married my father. Now I own it. My grandfather never liked my dad and wouldn't sign the company over to my mom or him. Then, after I killed my father, my grandfather signed the company over to me. I kept the name Kimber Enterprices. I haven't changed much. I like how my grandfather and grandmother had it, but I can take you to work with me tomorrow. We also need to talk about when to do your Luna ceremony. Yes, Brina, it has to be done." Doug said, kissing my forehead.
"Fine, we can do it on the second Wednesday of next week," I said, smiling.
"Oka...hey no." Doug said as I laughed.
"Okay okay. How about in a billion years? Does that work better?" I asked, smiling. The look Doug gave made me rethink joking. "Okay, I will talk with your mom. I don't want to do it and I am sure planning for this takes time," I said.
"Well, actually, it just so happens my mom has been planning it since I was 10 years old. You just have to talk to her about colors, and, of course, the date. The next full moon is next week. Yes, it has to be on a full moon. All pack ceremonies happen at night on a full moon. Its like an unspoken law. It's when we feel closest to the Moon Goddess and kinda give thanks to her for whatever the ceremony is for. This one is for a new member and a new luna. So we will be celebrating that and giving thanks. We also do it when a pack member finds their mates, and for when we get a new pack member," Doug said. I nodded my head.
"Okay, now I have another question. Can I go to school? I was raised human, so I don't know these things that I am sure the kids here know. So can I go to school, like start in kindergarten and so on, see if I can pass the grades in a week or two.
