Chapter 1
My husband and I are on a day date. After running some errands, we stop and get a bite to eat. As we set down, a guy comes up to me, grabs me and says "Mate. Mine." My husband and I just look at each other.
"Um hi weird person I have never met. How can my husband and I help you?" I asked. He growled. My mind went to my books I always read. "What are you a werewolf?" I asked, laughing. I stop when he says yes. Werewolves are fun to read about but they are fake.. aren't they?
"Okay look dude. It was a joke, but just reject me and get it over with. I am married. Or do you want me to reject you, so hopefully your Moon Goddess or whatever you believe in, can give you another mate. If that is it, then I, Sabrina Hughes, reject you. Wait, what's your name?" I asked.
"Sorry love rejection doesn't work. You are coming with me." he said as he grabbed and drug me out of the restaurant. He knocked me out alone with my husband when my husband went to fight for me.
I woke up in a truck in so much pain. I started screaming.
"Don't worry love, you're just shifting. It will be okay." my kidnapper said and then I felt my bones snap and brake. It felt like hours before it finally stopped. I looked down and saw a black body covered in hair. I screamed but it came out as a growl. What was happening to me?
"It's okay Sabrina, calm down. You just shifted your a lycan. Just think about how you looked human and you will shift back."
I don't know I listened, but I did. I slowed turned back into a human.
"What the f**k?! Who are you? What did you do to me? Where is Dylan? Where is my husband?" I demanded.
"Far away from here you won't ever see him again. Now, here, put this on. It's getting late and I want to get home. You have a whole pack to meet. They are very excited to meet you. Let me guess you don't believe in werewolves or lycans. What about vampires? I can assure you, dear, we are all real. There aren't many lycans left, but you should have known you weren't human. I could smell it on you. Oh, I never introduced myself. I am Doug. Doug Kissinger, I am the alpha of Blue Moon Pack. Oh and don't even try to reject me. Your Lycan won't allow it and it will just cause you more pain. Now get back in the truck before I take you right here. Right now," said my kidnapper like it was no big deal.
"You kidnapped me. After who knows how long I wake up and shift into some kind of monster. You just act like it's no big deal. Going to still a human and make her go crazy. It must be a Tuesday," I said sarcastically. "Look Doug, was it? I am sure you're a nice guy, but I want to be with my husband. I want to be with Dylan. Leave me alone." I said, and started walking.
"No you're not going back to that worthless human. You are now my mate. You are to be with me forever. We will work out a way for you to divorce him if you want, but after that I don't want to ever hear about him again. Get in the truck before I make you get in the truck." Doug said. I tried to ignore him. He just picked me up over his shoulder and put me in the truck. He put the child's lock on and got in and started driving again. " You can sleep some more. We will be home in another 2 hours or so, then you get to meet our pack and start your job as Luna." Doug said. I couldn't help the tears that fell from my eyes. I ended up falling asleep, my body still hurting from shifting. I woke up to being shaken.
