I am shaken awake.
"Hey love, come on wake up. We are home. It's time to meet the family."
I get up and rub my face and eyes before it dons on me.
"You know it's not too late. You could just let me go. This isn't my family, it's yours. I already have a family," I said.
"Look, Sabrina, we have been over this. I don't want to hear anymore about that human. You are mine." Doug said as he grabbed my alarm and walked to the house.
"Oh, hunny, your home. Wait, who is this?" An older lady who looked just like Doug said.
"Mom, this is Sabrina, my mate and Luna. It has been a long day. We are going to go to bed." Doug said. Pulling me. alone with him.
"Wait a minute. I get she is your mate. You wouldn't just take a chosen. My question is, did you do what your brother did? Or what your sister's mate tried to do? Remember how we all felt then?" She said.
"No mom I didn't. Come on Sabrina."
"Wait wait, I want to know what they did."
"Well, my oldest son found his mate and took her without even talking to her Alpha, who was her dad and the king of werewolves started a war. My daughter's mate is a vampire. He took her. We just now got her back and only because she is still 16 andby human law, can't mate." His mom said.
"Why? Also, why do you both humans like it's a bad thing? Like we are less then because we don't have another part." I said.
"Didn't your parents ever teach you?"
" Seeing as I was a normal human up tell about 2 hours or so ago when I changed into a giant beast. Also, yes, he did the same thing. I am married and I don't care if my husband is human. I love him. I tried to reject him but he said he wouldn't get another mate and my lycan wouldn't let me reject him." I said.
"Well, yes, that's true. He wouldn't get another fated mate. Your lycan very well may fight the rejection. Wolves and lycans need their mates. Since you are technically here against your will, I will take you back home tomorrow without Doug going with you so he won't know where you live. You will find your way back here though." She said sweetly. "Now let me show you to the room you will be sleeping in." SHe said and took my hand. "Doug go to bed. I will deal with you later." his mom continued.
