After we ate, Sarah took me back home. When I got home, the police were there. I walked in.
"Excuse me? What's going on?" I asked as I walked into my house.
"Sorry ma'am you can't be here. We are investigating a kidnapping." A cop said.
"What do you mean? Why here? I was taken from a restaurant yesterday," I said.
"Yes, it's a follow-up with your husband. Wait were you taken? How are you here now?"
"Hello Peter," Sarah said.
"Sarah, let me guess another mate in your family." Said the cop.
" Unfortunately. Can you blame Doug though? Most would do the same thing as he did after everything."
"That is true. Your boy has been through a lot. Has he been rejected again? I know he didn't reject her."
"No, she tried but didn't have his name and he wouldn't let her try to reject him again. She also changed after he kidnaped her, so she will be coming on her own free will in a few days' time. She is a lycan. You know there aren't many left. Poor thing was raised by humans. She doesn't know anything of our ways." Sarah said.
"And she is right here. Please don't talk like I am not. Also, don't talk like I am stupid. Now I am back with my husband, please leave so we can spend time together. Thank you," I said.
"No Brina. We need to talk." Dylan said.
"What is it, Dyl? Your acting different." I said.
"I think you should leave. You are not human, it's not safe." he said.
"For who me or you? Please, Dyl, don't throw us away."
"Get out of my house before I kill you. I am a hunter. I was told to investigate you. That's why I was ever with you. To see if you were a monster. You are. I didn't think I would end up loving you. That is why I am telling you Brina leave. My mother won't let me stop hunting you now. She is on her way. Leave and when your about a mile or two from hire through out your ring. Its a tracker. All your jewelry is." Dylan said.
"Okay. Fine. I take it I get no clothes either," I said.
"Its probably best to leave it all. Mom is almost here. Please Brina."
"Goodbye Dylan. I will always love you." I said as I walked out.
"Come on dear." Sarah started, but I shifted, shredding my clothes and ran.
When I was about three miles away, I threw my ring, earrings and necklace in the water. Somehow they didn't shred off me. Then I started walking. I started hearing sounds, so I focused on hearing more. It sounded like Dylan's mom. She was looking for me.
"Dont tell me what to do. I have been doing this for years. She will be found and put down like the mutt she is."
"Yes mother," Dylan replied.
"Oh don't tell me you fell for the beast. Come on, I raised you better than that Dylan."
"No mother, I didn't fall for the ugly mutt," Dylan said.
I couldn't take anymore and left.
"We are leaving tracks. We need to get in the water."Ally said. I turned around and started erasing my tracks. Tell I heard them somewhat close.
"They are still a mile away. We got time." Ally said.
"I know." Was all I said.
After erasing my tracks, I jumped in the water. Swimming about 5 miles. Before getting out to run. Before I knew it, I was running into Dougs pack.
"Stop." A guy said as he and 10 wolves surrounded me. I smiled."Shift." The guy commanded. I threw my head back. Laughing in my Lycan form was funny. Even funnier than this guy commanding me. I decided to shift so he didn't have a brain aneurysm, or something.
"Just get Doug over here. With some clothes for me please." I said as I shifted back.
"The alpha is busy. You can talk to me. Why are you here on our land? Here is a shirt." He said, holding a shirt out to me. At least it didn't smell of any guy, just woods.
I took it shifted and put it on.
"Look, I understand the alpha is busy. But get him here. Or there will be no Luna for this pack. Ever." I said. They all growled at me. I smirked.
"I will set right here and wait. No, I am not a threat to your precious luna. i just want to speak to your alpha." I said, setting down.
