MADALING araw na akong nakatulog dahil sa ginawa kong assignments at project. Hindi na nga ako sa kama nakatulog sa halip ay sa mesa na lang kung saan nakatambak ang mga notes ako nakatulog.
Fortunately, I woke up when my phone alarm went off. I took my towel and my uniform then took a bath. I hastened my bath because I still need to fix the other things.
I took a deep breath when I put their notes and their project in the paper bag. Then I went down to eat my breakfast.
"Oh, bakit ngayon ka lang bumaba?" tanong ni mama parang ako na lang hinihintay nila.
I saw another vacant seat other than my chair with a plate in front. I looked at mom asking why there was a vacant seat.
"Oh," She widened her smile and glanced at my back. "Lio's here." She pointed at my back.
I felt a little awkward because of his presence because I was uncomfortable with it. I did not face him instead I went straight out and sat down to eat.
Naiilang ako dahil bawat pagsubo ko ng pagkain ay tinitingnan niya ako.
"Ihahatid ka raw niya," I was about to choke because of what my dad told me to. "He insists."
Nang lingunan ko si Lio nasa iba na ang paningin niya at tuwing hinuhuli ko ang mga mata niya ay iniiwas naman siya kaagad.
"Is that true?" Tanong ko nang magtagumpay ako ay tiningnan niya na ako ngunit walang emosyon na mababakas sa kaniyang mga mata at mukha.
"If you don't want then you can walk." he said seriously and put the spoon and fork on his plate
Seriously we're talking this in front of my parents?
He raised his eyebrows when I did not answer him.
Aurelio Dewey Schmitt was my best friend back then. I just don't know why he suddenly disappeared like a ghost. it was the new year when I met him and we became friends.
"Are you going with me or not?" He's already holding the key of his Ferrari.
I hurried to get my bag and the paper bag and said goodbye to my parents.
He didn't help me at all and so when I slipped in I slammed the door so he'll notice that he's pissing me off but it didn't happen.
"What's your favorite place here in Zamboanga City?" Suddenly he asked while driving
"Pasonanca Butterfly Garden." I answered and I heard him Smirked.
Then he didn't talk again until we arrived.
Lio is attending at Ateneo De Zamboanga University with his cousin Oliver. In fact he wasn't like this before. What he is now contradicts what he was before.
He looked at me before I went down so I quickly grabbed the bag and as soon as I opened the door. I faced to him before leaving him.
"Don't worry I'm going to pick you up later." Umawang ang bibig ko dahil hindi iyon ang inaasahan kong sasabihin niya!
"Thank you and..." Naramdaman ko ang malalim niyang titig sa aking mga mata kaya ako na ang nag-iwas ng tingin. "See you."
When I met Jasmine and Rodge I saw the confused their face.
"Who's that guy?" She pinched my arms when she asked that while looking at the Ferrari of Lio.
"Just someone I know," I shrugged. "No big deal."
"Someone I know." I heard Rodge whispered.
"Alam mo na ba?" Jasmine suddenly screamed in my ear.
"What?"
"Blase will come to our building later to observe." My eyes widened not because I was shocked but because I'm excited!!
"My cactus is coming!!" Yinugyog ko pa ang braso niya. I heard Rodge breathe a deep sigh.
Jasmine and I gossiping on our way to our building. Actually we didn't took the same course but we still have time for each other.
We discussed about Theoretical Foundation of Nursing, Anatomy and Physiology, Community Health Nursing, Maternal and Child Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing, Nurse Research, Pharmacology.
I glanced around to see if Blase was here. My eyes sparkled as I heard the knock on the door and my heart throbbed when I saw the Cactus in my life!!

He sat down at the end near me. The more I smell his masculine scent the more I fall for him.
He has this furrowed thick brows, chinky (brown hazelnut) eyes. Up toned nose that lies on a perfect angel, and frankly he has this thin, pink and kissable lips. He looks so stunning I must say.
I feel like the Earth stops orbitting the moment his eyes landed on me, I feel like my soul's been captivated. Everything stops moving, I cannot hear anyone nor any other noises, but his angelic voice. Everything is on a blur except for him.
He has this boyish smile, plastered on his face. Oh s**t I feel my insides melting with my legs going wobbly like a freaking jelly. My heart starts beating beyond the normal, as if I came from a marathon.
"Miss Oliveros!" Biglang tawag ng Professor sa akin saka ako pinatayo. "What are the different theories of nursing?"
Ito na ang oras na magpakitang gilas ako dahil naramdaman kong nakatitig siya sa akin.
"There are three major categories were based on their level of abstraction: grand theory, middle-range theory, and practice-level theory." Sagot ko saka umupo nang nakangiti.
Nakita ko ang sumilay na ngiti sa kaniyang labi nang makaupo na ako. Hinawakan ko ang dibdib ko dahil sa lakas ng kabog nito.
I just idolize or crush him but I don't like him it's different. I like someone but I don't love him because there's only one person in my heart. You understand? It's different.
My dear man is back but not for me.
I also gave Zeih the Notes and their project when they approached me.
At the end of the day, I left my notes in the locker while I carry my books with me.
When I got to the school gate I did not see a Ferrari so I sat down and read. I've read a lot but Lio hasn't come yet. I looked at the time on my phone. I was surprised to find that it was nearly six o'clock.
I waited a little while when a red ferrari parked in front of me.
When I opened the car door I smelled a beer.
"Did you drink?" I was disappointed. "Sana sinabi mo!"
"Why would I-"
"Hahayaan mong maaksidente ako kasama mo?!"
"Of course not-" I covered my nose as I smelled the beer in his breath.
"The heck Lio I'll drive!" Sigaw ko sa kaniya at lumabas ng kotse para makipag palitan.
I still have to lift him to get him in the shotgun seat.
"So Stupid." I hissed.
