My alarm goes off, waking me from my slumber. I spent last night scrambling to get everything ready for today.
I grab my phone and turn the alarm off. The time read 7:15am. I wanted to get up an hour before we left so we could have something to eat and get all our stuff put at the door. I packed a bag for two days just in case.
Daniel rolls over and tosses his arm around me. “It’s still so early. Go back to sleep,” he says, sounding sleepy.
“Sorry Daniel but it’s time to get up. We have to take our bags to the door and have some breakfast. We’re leaving in an hour.” I tell him, pulling his arm off of me.
