Alexia had to drive back to Rose’s place before heading to the new shelter. That’s where they had kept all the new locks and door knobs, as well as the keys. There was about a hundred of them. It was a lot. I was glad that I decided to come. Just having two people to do that job would take forever. With 6 people it would take a lot less time. With all the locks and lock knobs we head to the new shelter and park just outside the building.
I get out of the van and look up at the building. It was four stories high and the length of 3 houses. I walk towards the door with the keys in my hand and unlock the door.
Daniel comes behind me holding the tool box. He walks into the building and starts taking the lock off the door after placing the tool box down on the floor.
