In the week before the Global Tech Summit, Alexander tried to reach me twice.
First, he sent a formal meeting request to my assistant. I declined it. Then his legal team delivered a long letter to mine, full of apologies and settlement offers. My lawyer returned it unopened.
At the summit, Julian and I were crossing the main lobby when Alexander stepped into our path.
His suit was immaculate. The shadows under his eyes were harder to hide.
