Amelia’s Vampire Love Triangle

Amelia’s pov I had turned 18 over the summer, I was an 18 year old vampire in college! Unlike most tales, my breed of vampires could go into the sunlight. It was the first day of freshman year at the Supernatural University of New York. SUNY some called it, I thought it silly that’s the shorthand for it. I knew though this was home for the next four years. I had gotten up and gotten ready with ample time to get to my first class of the day. English, I was a A- student all threw out high school. I was not concerned about my grades. I walked into Professor Golden’s class room with excitement for my future. But little did I know I’d be falling down a rabbit hole soon. Professor Golden had given us our assignment for the day, we had a paper due in two days which most of the class groan in exasperation. Not that I minded, I liked to keep busy and I knew no one here. I had a few hours before my next class, so I had decided to take a walk around the campus to get to know it better. The campus had a café, I’d start there. That’s where I saw him, Logan Hart. One of the most popular, handsome men in school. He was a junior, everyone knew who he was. He has short blonde hair, broad shoulders, tall and a smile that was to die for! We had bumped into one another grabbing a drink, I ended up on the floor naturally. He was very muscular. “Hey, are you alright?” He asked as he extended his hand. “I’ll be fine, thank you.” Blushing as I took his hand. “Of course.” “My name is Logan Hart, what is your name miss??” “Amelia Lust.” “Beautiful name for a beautiful woman.” Logan smiled, “I’ll be seeing you around Amelia, I have to get to class.” “B- bye.” Amelia stammered. Had the most handsome man in school just called her beautiful? Her undead heart would’ve started beating if it could have. Amelia went through the rest of her day almost in a daze. That is until she went to her dorm, she met her roommate Chelly. Her actual name is Michelle but likes to go by chelly. Chelly was a bit of a wild girl, she likes parties and scraping by. The opposite of me, don’t get me wrong I liked to go out too but I wouldn’t let it interfere with my school work. At least not at home I wouldn’t. Chelly and I almost looked like we could be twins. We both had long dark straight hair, slender figures but with the right amount of curves. The biggest difference was our eyes. Chelly had beautiful chocolate brown eyes and mine were a hazel almost golden hue. We got to talking and learning about one another, we grew up in the same town just outside of New York. But we had never met, we went to different schools. Chelly was super sweet and bubbly, I was happy to have a roommate I felt I’d be comfortable with. “Are you going to the party at the vampire sorority house tonight?” Chelly asked. “I hadn’t heard of it, a party on the first night of school how wild.” “Oh yeah all the supernaturals like to party. Do you want to come with me Amelia?” “I guess I could go for a little bit, I have an assignment due in two days but I can start after the party.” We got ready, we had different taste in clothes but Chelly decided she’d dress me for the party. She said she wanted me to look hot with her. Silly girl I thought. She wore a hot pink tube top and a jean mini skirt with heels. The outfit made her curves stand out more than I could pull off comfortably. After a bit of fussing with her, I wore a crop top and a pair of jeans with my flats. We put on our make up and went out for a fun filled night.
