Even with my mother's magic we only arrived by the middle of the second act. I tried to take a good seat with my parents and I didn't take my eyes off Roxanne. Rico noticed our arrival and waved to sit with them. Luckily they reserved us a few seats. It sat between my mother and my friend. We arrived right at Roxanne's solo. This time her voice was even more beautiful and filled with... Pain. Our eyes met while she sang and I swear to the Goddess's name, that Roxanne's eyes were filled with tears.
- She is amazing... - Rico whispered. Each word Roxanne sang felt like a thorn scratching my skin, slowly destroying me. I shook my head and my mother noticed my discomfort.
