Blurb

Celina Draven sneaks into Lupinus Academy—an elite, all-boys school—disguised as a boy. Her purpose? Revenge.

Her mate was murdered. Her bloodline was wiped out. And she knows the answers lie somewhere behind these testosterone-soaked walls of violence and hierarchy.

To survive, she hides her scent. Her body. Her identity.

But secrets don't stay buried for long—especially not when he is hunting them.

Ronan Hale.

Alpha born. Cold-blooded. Captain of the hockey team.

A predator with a jaw carved from steel... and eyes that see too much.

When Ronan discovers the truth—she’s a woman—he doesn’t turn her in.

He cages her instead.

“You’ll follow my rules, Celina,” he murmurs darkly, backing her against the wall.

“You’ll sleep in my bed, obey my voice, and when I tell you to moan my name… you’ll do it like you were made for it.”

“Moan for me, Celina. Loud enough for this Academy to know exactly who owns you.”

The deal is simple: he keeps her secret. She surrenders to his control.

But as their game turns hotter and crueler, the lies between them begin to crack.

Because the night her mate died… Ronan was there. And he’s hiding more than just his twisted desires.

Chapter 1. Your Smell... So Weird
(Celina’s POV) “Are you sure about this?” I stared at the blurry reflection of myself in the cracked mirror of the old bathroom, speaking to no one but my own shadow. The pale yellow light from the swinging ceiling lamp cast wavering shadows, making my face look even more unfamiliar. My fingers trembled as I took a deep breath, my heart pounding as if it knew what I was about to do. “I have to be,” I whispered to the reflection. The elastic cloth in my hand felt rough and cold as I wrapped it across my chest. Slowly, I began to bind my body, hiding the feminine curves that had always made me a target. Each layer felt like I was tearing away a part of myself. But it was necessary. In the place I was going, being a woman wasn’t just a disgrace—it was a death sentence. “Almost done,” I muttered through gritted teeth. An old wound on my rib throbbed again as the band tightened too much. The mirror now reflected a different face—my hair was cut short, jagged ends falling unevenly across my forehead. The grey eyes my mother once called “soft like morning dew” were now cold and hard like stone. “Forget morning dew,” I said bitterly, sneering at my reflection. “Now, I am the storm.” I walked over to the narrow bed where my brother’s old uniform lay neatly folded. It's dark grey fabric was still intact, though the scent of dust and past blood clung to it. With trembling fingers, I slipped it on—shirt, trousers, then the outer coat. Every piece of cloth now felt like a new layer of armor. “This used to be yours, brother…” I whispered. “But now, I’m borrowing it. For both of us.” Suddenly, a faint growl echoed in my mind. The voice was deep, rough, and full of anger. “You’re deceiving them.” “I know,” I whispered to the wolf inside me. Its breath felt heavy and wild, like it was howling from behind a cage. “But I have to. For all of us.” “This isn’t our path.” “It’s the only one left.” My wolf growled softly, not in agreement, but it stopped arguing. It knew I wouldn’t back down. Then my father’s voice rang through my head, as if slicing through time and death: “Weakness has no place in this academy.” My jaw tightened. “I’m not weak.” Two years ago, that blood-soaked night burned my life to ashes. My father, mother, my brother—my fated mate—all of them were slaughtered in a single night, and not one of their killers was identified. Investigation? Closed. Evidence? Gone. Voices? Silenced. All that remained was me… and a vengeance that refused to die. The only clue I had led me here, to Lupinus Academy, where Alpha heirs were trained to become monsters. One of them… was there that night. I could feel it. I had heard their breath in the darkness when Lior screamed for the last time. I wouldn’t leave until I found out who it was. “Take this,” Nathan, my closest friend, tossed a fake ID card into my hand. “Name: Celyn Draven,” I read aloud, my voice trembling slightly. Nathan looked at me from the worn-out sofa, his dark eyes full of concern. His hair was messy, and his fingers hadn’t stopped tapping his knee for the past hour. “Celina… we can find another way. This is insane. You still have time to change your mind.” I stared at him sharply. “It’s been two years, Nathan. I don’t need another way. I need the truth.” He stood up and grabbed my shoulders. “You could die, Celina. They’ll tear you apart if they find out you’re a woman. Do you know who studies there? These heirs are no joke. They’re not just Alphas, they were born to kill.” “And I’ve been a victim since birth!” I shouted. My voice cracked, but I didn’t regret it. He fell silent, looking at me as if trying to remind me who I used to be. “I’m not the same Celina anymore,” I whispered. “I died with them, Nathan. What’s standing in front of you now is just a walking corpse.” He looked down, his jaw tightening. He knew what I’d been through. “I’m helping you because I’m your friend. But this… this is beyond dangerous.” “If I die in the process, so be it. At least I’ll die fighting, not just accepting things the way they are.” After a long pause, Nathan finally nodded, albeit reluctantly. “Then make sure you kill them before they kill you.” The black gates towered high, surrounded by pine trees swaying in the whispering wind. A silver emblem—a three-headed wolf—was engraved in the center. Lupinus Academy. I took a deep breath. This was it. My steps were slow as I walked the stone path toward the gate. Three students in black coats passed me without a glance. No smiles. Just an aura of bloodlust. Inside me, my wolf curled up uneasily. “This place reeks…” “Exactly,” I whispered. “But rotten places hide the corpses I’m looking for.” As I crossed the gate’s threshold, a strange pulse jolted through my skin like electricity. I stopped abruptly. “What was that…” I murmured. The sensation came from the air, a layer, invisible yet sharp against my senses. A scent barrier. “s**t…” I gasped. It was a truth-scent ward, designed to detect lies. My body went rigid as cold dread crawled up my spine. A part of me wanted to turn back, but that part was small now. I had come too far. And before I could move again, the sound of breath behind me shattered my focus. My heart seemed to stop beating for a few seconds before snapping back into rhythm. A man with piercing eyes grabbed my wrist, making my nerves spike in alarm. His gaze was intense, filled with suspicion, like he was trying to sniff out something hidden in me. “You smell… so weird.” I froze, my breath caught in my throat. Shit!
