The Phoenix's Maiden

Protector

The dragon opened its eyes when Shyvana whistled and almost immediately Jogundar struggled because it is stuck on the ground. It causes the ground to shake that shocks the maiden, that is currently making Borjr suffer.

The maiden lost her balance that causes her to let go of Borjr leaving him in a near death state. He was almost burned to ashes and his void walker form has been disabled but his skin is almost charred black right now.

Shyvana saw this as a moment for her to escape so while Jogundar is struggling to get free, she used her remaining strength to get to Borjr, as can’t just abandon her dying ally. Amber used her hands to prevent herself from completely falling on the ground. 

The maiden noticed Shyvana’s action and she fired a lava bullet at her but because of the ground is shaking she missed all her shots, and Shyvana just continued walking towards her dying ally to help him. Jogundar was pinned down hard on the ground. The maiden tried firing lava bullets at her again but the shaking just keeps her balance off and she missed it again.

Jogundar managed to free one of its wings and that made it easier for it to free itself completely. It used its freed wing as a -foundation of force. Its goal is taking its master away from this place, and it will not stop until it accomplishes its goal.

Despite of it being weak and injured, Shyvana’s real curse is acting on its mind. Its real curse is acting on its mind. Her real curse is called...

Enslavement... this allows her to take over her target’s mind and link it into her target’s mind and the link is called loyalty by her. Loyalty is a kind of mind control where the master will have the complete command of the slave’s mind, but the uniqueness of the ability is that whatever the slave’s current state will not interfere with the master’s commands, their goal is to finish it no matter what happens. If they are decapitated, killed in action, it does not matter, as long as the master does not cut the link between them. The only way to stop the slave is to pulverize them to pieces.

That’s what make her one of the powerful generals with her ability alone, but without her slave, she is powerless against powerful foes.

Jogundar broke the ceiling of the cave into pieces, sending all of them into shambles except for Shyvana who is currently carrying her dying ally on her shoulders. She managed to throw his body on the back of the dragon and she get on its back.

She whistled again and this time commanding the dragon to fly away and bring them back in the underworld empty handed. She is prepared to face the punishment that her king will give her.

While Amber and the others flee to find shelter to protect themselves from the dangerous falling debris that was caused by the dragon. They can still feel the dragon flapping its wings and they continue to flee to safety, but Amber stopped on her tracks and faced the collapsing place, and used every ounce of her anger and turned it into power.

With her boiling anger she uses it on her Vespa form and...

“Ahhhhhhh!” she shouted her pain and anger and immediately her whole body erupted and everything that touches those were burned immediately.

Her eruption caused another shaking on the ground, and both Arthur and Kamandag are running as fast as they could to avoid the danger that Amber has brought upon them. `They can hear her scream of anger and anguish and they knew that there is something wrong that’s why Amber is acting like that.

Amber is truly frustrated that she let the enemies escape, and she did not take the revenge that she wanted. She wanted to kill them but letting them go just like that, without them paying for what they did towards the goddess.

She used both of her fists, to smash the ground and lava came popping out upon impact, and she shouted again in anger.

Amber’s Point of View

I cannot accept this, I can’t! I smashed the ground again, to release my frustration. I am so angry right now and I feel like exploding. I am exploding this place up; I mean I want to explode from inside and disappear.

Why? Why? Why!? WHY!?

She died, and they got away. The crystal is with me but I can’t just accept it. My tears are flowing through my cheeks and I can tell. It just dries up so quick because of the heat that I am emitting right now. I can feel that my body is over heating because of the power that the crystal has given me.

I felt ashamed that I am just using this power to throw a tantrum but I cannot help it. I don’t want to contain my anger and explode after some time. I really hate this feeling. I am so disappointed in myself. Shyvana was right, I cannot protect anyone on my own. I can’t.

I smashed the rocks again and I began to fall as the ground began to collapse because of the continuous damage that I dealt on it. I let myself fall maybe a hard fall will wake me up from this nightmare again.

“Be strong,” I heard the goddess’s voice.

“Where are you?” I asked and turned around hoping that she is next to me. “Please show yourself!” I begged and I felt the anguish again.

“You must remain strong just like what I thought you,” I heard her whisper again in my hears and right now I am more than confused. I cannot find here anywhere here and I look down and saw how far is below. Hitting the ground with this speed can cause me death.

I pointed the palm of my hands on the ground and fire boosted myself. So, I can reduce the impact of the fall or if I am fortunate, I will land completely safe. I can’t tell my mind is completely clouded right now and I can’t tell what is the best decision that I can make in this moment. I just wanted for the goddess to live. That’s all I wanted.

I pulled out crystal, and look at it. Now I remember, her death was not in vain, I succeeded her last wish. I took the crystal back from the enemy and saved a thousand of lives just like what she wanted me to do. I landed safely on the ground and landed safely.

This crystal is the proof the goddess still lives. She lives inside me right now and will always be. I will not take this crystal away from me. She trusted me on this and I will not fail her again, I am its new protector, and I will use this power to defeat the enemies and save lives.

This is my new purpose. I know what I must do. Is to save this realm from his hands. I must come back to the castle right away to inform the kings.
