Garden of Eden (Part Seven)

Amber’s Point of View With how I am feeling right now, I guess this is the best chance for me to execute the last move in my one hundred fireball-based skill set. I really don’t want to use this idea and save it for the last but they leave me no choice and I don’t want to go on with these any longer. I just wanted to return and sleep. This is one of my ultimate moves that will drain my energy but this is powerful enough to blow them away both. It’s based on what I learned in science; with my pyrokinesis I think I can make it happen with no problem. Thanks to chemistry and astrology books that I borrowed in the past; I know what properties of my flame to create this move. “Go away from me,” I said to Mirana so she won’t be caught up with this attack because I am planning to create a temporary black hole enough just to render them both unconscious at the same time and go on with leaving this forest, once and for all. My mind is clear right now, and I channeled a lot of my aura in my body and I can feel it flowing through my body. I need to create a super nova that will explode and temporary creating a black hole that will suck them up in the middle and other things that will be caught up inside the attack. This time she obeyed me, and I am thankful for that and I can freely make this fireball as big as I want it to be. In this process everything around me will burn, that’s why I don’t want to use this since it is a destructive ability that will hurt everyone except for me. Since this is just a plain are with just littered leaves on the ground, I can go all out. I put some distance between those monsters so I will not kill them in the process. The post channeling ability and the actual effect are both destructive, that’s why. I can feel the heat of my own fire and even I am sweating. My eyes are closed that’s why I cannot see how big it is right now but even my eyes are closed I can say that it’s very bright right now. The brighter it is, means the bigger it gets. I won’t put all my aura in this move because I don’t want killing anybody, whether it is a hostile creature or not. When I feel enough heat and satisfied with it, I opened my eyes and I was impressed to see how big this fireball I created. I wonder if I can create a black hole in this realm. I know that it only happens in space but who knows. Maybe I will be successful in trying it this once. I looked around me and as expected I saw the leaves around, we charred black and when the wind blew, it instantly turned into ashes. It flew with the wind. Imagine using this in the middle of the enemy’s army, if I can have a complete mastery over this. I am sure that this will be a tide changer, and if fortunate and completed, the favor of victory is upon us. But... the downside of this ability is that my friends are also affected and they will be killed if I put enough power in it. So, the best situation possible is I am the only one in the battlefield with my enemy. Just like a living bomb, yet I am sure that my enemies aren’t fools to let me be in the middle of them. I let this supernova float above my hands and controlling this huge fireball is pretty darn hard! It’s like I am actually carrying it, even my mind only feels that, my whole body is taking its toll. My knees are shaking and anytime soon it may collapse, but I still can hold it for longer. Defy the limits Amber, you can do this. I managed to lift it above my head, standing like an anime character that I watched when I am just a child. It’s effective because the weight it puts in my mind, is eased for a bit but this is okay and I threw this huge fireball towards them with all my strength. I can sense a gravitational pull from that supernova, that’s what I call that move in post cast, then after it will be called black hole, I may not be that creative when naming my moves, the goddess must admit that she is impressed when she saw this. Supernova/Black hole, that’s decided. The supernova travelled towards them at full speed pulling the leaves that it came across, that’s a good sign because with that I can create a black hole powerful enough sucking these big beasts. The beasts did not have the time to react and when the fireball hits them, it exploded creating a heat wave that burned tress within a meter radius, it’s not powerful enough to make the radius bigger but I am happy with that. When the heat wave come across me, I closed my eyes and my body felt how heat is that supernova that hit the beasts. That’s good, I opened my eyes once again and check on what happened. I am expecting that they are hugging each other because of the strong gravitational pull of the black hole that will just last- Oh, expectations can really hit you hard sometimes, I saw both of them unconscious, still breathing and their big stomachs are telling me that. But how powerful my black hole is right now, I can’t believe it, yes, I created a black hole, but it only just formed a small pile of leaves in midair. Well, what’s important is knocked them out so I immediately ran and Mirana followed me quickly because she read the situation like a veteran. That’s nice, because she started to read the situation correctly which will not bother me anymore. We ran straight towards the direction where it will lead us to the exit of this forest and as I looked at the sky, I saw that it is becoming orange, I looked over the other edge of the sky and saw the sun setting. Oh... Is that how long am I stucked here? The moon will rise soon and I don’t want to sleep her. I am running towards the goddess now, and I hope that she is really waiting there for me. Mission complete, I have now completed the one hundred fireball-based moves and I am getting tired of being limited with one move but it actually helped me. I have so many ideas coming in my mind. Like using my palm as flamethrowers, and since I can weave objects with my flames, I am left thinking if I can weave life with fire. I didn’t even try it so who knows. Maybe I’ll ask the goddess about that move and try it in my new training routine. I heard screams from behind me and there I saw the Goo chasers behind us. I knew it! These creatures won’t just give up hunting us. When will they learn that they can’t catch us? I guess I have no choice but to continue running and I looked towards Mirana, eye-ing her, telling her, no throwing any flammable objects towards them. I completed my objectives without taking life, and I don’t want that to be ruined right now. She seems to get the information that I am trying to give her and I looked forward and continue running straight. I am feeling the exhaustion and I can’t stop right now because once I do, I will feel my body becoming heavy, and my muscles won’t move an inch any longer. Just continue on running no matter how painful it is. Don’t stop Amber, I will reach the exit soon. This area has so many spaces and we can freely move inside this area, perfect hunting ground. No any obstacles that the prey will use to stall the chasers. This area is not favorable to them because if they catch me, I will be forced to kill them. I don’t want that. Just a little bit longer and I will reach the exit soon. “I see it!” Mirana shouted and I yes, I can see the the edge of the forest. FINALLY! The finish line. I sped up and this motivation is enough to give the temporary adrenaline to reach the edge of this forest. “Yes! Freedom!” I shouted, when we got out of the forest and this sense of comfortability slowed me down which transferred the fatigue all over my body and knees collapsed. I kissed the ground and it hurts really bad. But at least I am finally out of that forest. I am like in a prison trying to break free. “NO DON’T GO DOWN YET!” I heard Mirana said and she goes beside me and I am wondering why is she acting like that. I just looked at her and I am completely weakened right now and I can’t feel my body anymore. “They are still chasing us,” she said and I used all my strength to turn around and saw the goo chasers still chasing us. With this situation of ours we will be caught. “I am sorry but I have to kill them,” she whispered to me but even I wanted to stop her, I don’t have the strength to do so.  “Just lay down for a bit and I will take care of this,” she said while putting me on the ground and I just watched her. We really don’t have a choice right so I just closed my eyes. I don’t want see them dying. Death by fire is the most painful death for every life. It consumes you slowly and the pain is indescribable. That’s why. “STOP!” I heard a familiar voice and I opened my eyes. “No need to kill them,” I saw the goddess going down from the skies stopping Mirana to kill the goo chasers. “You may go away now,” she said and the pack turned back. -The Phoenix’s Maiden-
