The Day I Met Him

It was Friday and I am sitting in the house bored. I decided to text my friends to see what they were doing tonight. When I say friends I just meant Avery. He has always been my best friend since the 1st grade and well you’re probably thinking ‘have you ever had feelings for me?’ And why oh yes! You have thought of the right question… Yes I’ve had feelings for Avery for some time now. Avery? Hey Ave, wyd tonight? Going to this party, u want to come with? Fuck yea I do!!! I put my playlist on shuffle and the first song is “Don’t Tell Nobody” by Tink ft. Jeremiah. After, I go to the bathroom to turn on the shower. I brushed my teeth, put on my makeup in 30 minutes and I put on my red and black flannel over my white crop top tank, with my cowboy hat and flowey tight blue-wash jeans. You might think it’s too much but I did throw baby oil on the white chop top tank. I waited for his text at 11. He doesn’t get here til 11:18. Avery? I’m outside M- dog I ran outside to the car. Avery looks at me and says “Damn M, you look country for real and hot!” I then said ‘You only saying that because we have the same s**t on, just don’t be by me too much because I don’t want people thinking I’m yours.’ Avery says, “ What would be wrong with us being together?” He smirks to see what my answer would be. ‘You know I mean, so don’t play these games.’
