Jessy and Joseph in the Apocolypse

"Joseph, get your butt down here!" Our father yelled up the stairs whilst packing his bags. "Okay okay, I'm coming old man!" Joseph said with rebellion in his voice. Hi I'm Jessy, and this is the apocalypse. As you can probably tell we are kinda freaking out, I mean it's the apocalypse so yeah it's freaking scary. "Jessy, did you get all of the food?!" "Yeah Dad, of course!" I yelled while packing all I could carry in my bag. "Okay, so here's the plan, we go pick up your uncle, we go to the subway, and then get the hell out of here, got it?" My dad asked. "Got it!" both my brother and I said at the same time. This has been going on for a while. We've been hunkered down at home ever since it started, but now we are almost out of food and this place won't hold up for much longer. The army is trying to get everyone who isn't infected out of the city through the subway, so that's where we are heading, first we need to get our uncle. "Hey! Jessy! Pay attention or you'll get lost!" Joseph yelled at me. "Okay, okay!" We were rushing down the side walk while everyone else was going the opposite way. It felt like trying to fight against a tidal wave. Then dad disappeared. "Joseph! Joseph!" "What!" he yelled back at me. "Where's Dad?!" Joseph looked around, then looked back at me and said "I don't know" Panic was all I had running through my head. Then we heard a blood curdling scream, "Zombies!" I turned to see that the sound was coming from a lady standing not too far from us. Next thing we know everyone is running as fast as they can, and screaming as loud as they can. I'm trying to stay close to Joseph, I don't want to lose him too. "Joseph! Joseph!" I yelled with panic. "I'm here! I'm here!" He yelled back at me, trying to get through all of the people and to me. I couldn't keep up with everyone, I tripped and screamed as I reached out to break my fall, I twisted my ankle and with everyone stepping on and around me, I couldn't move, so I started screaming for Joseph again. "Joseph! Joseph!" no response, "Joseph!" I screamed louder, He emerged from the crowd and threw himself over me to protect me. I was then knocked out.
