Chapter 7The goddess unleashed an arc of white flame from her fingertips at Kreusa, and it struck her square in the face. The immortal fire enveloped Kreusa in an instant. Aeneas sprang back, pain searing through his palm. Kreusa didn’t have time to scream. She collapsed like a felled tree. Aeneas couldn’t tell where Kreusa began and the fire ended.
