Flynn's POV
The chattering all around makes me nervous because I know who they are talking about but I just wish I knew what they were saying. She leads me to a tent that has a man in it. "I need your help.. it's Kaya." she says as an older man flips around before his eyes widen in shock seeing me. "What happened to her?" he asks as her mother looks straight at me waiting for me to give the answer since she doesn't know the details, so I clear my throat to respond, "She was attacked by some men and fought the entire time, she yelled for me.. So I tried to save her, but they stabbed her as she ran to me.. I didn't know what to do to help her.. so she told me which way to go to take her home."
I say this with shamelessness, hating that I had to meet them like this when I had the opportunit
