I feel my body tensing up as I look from my mother then back to the two of them. My mother has the same look on her face that I do. I think we both know the turn this conversation could take. "Flynn.. It wasn't easy to leave like I did, but I didn't know how to get her out of there. We tried to think of ways to go together, but she wasn't much for ideas, and I wasn't planning on getting tortured... you know how they are there." he says this as casually as possible before Flynn adds on, "Yeah you didn't want to get killed for some female.. I get it."
