I spent some time, after Caleb left, walking around the house. Every corner sparks recognition, and it’s overwhelming. This isn’t a home I’ve been in here before, but I know this house. Caleb and I discussed this backward and forward. He told me about all the things he hoped to have in his dream home and asked me what I wanted. This place is exactly what we dreamed of, and it’s breathtaking.
Talking to Jamichael and Lyrissa was refreshing now that I remember who I am. I’ve missed my brother and am so glad to see him so happy. Although I never met his former mate, I always told myself that there was better out there for him, and now I see I was right.
