Chapter 11

1565 Words

Tears rolled down my cheeks. I didn’t bother to wipe them off, too tired to do so. But I felt a hand on my face; Ethan wiped the tears away for me. “Hey,” he said. “It’s okay.” Fuck, I’m never drinking again. I chocked on a half-sob and half-laugh. “I don't even know why I'm crying.” He laughed with me. “You must be an emotional drunk.” I opened my eyes to look at him and said, “Well that sucks.” He hummed and just stared at me. I felt myself blush and said, “Don’t stare.” “You look terrible.” He chuckled. “Guess… drinking… doesn’t suit me,” I said between yawns. He laughed and I laughed with him. He had a nice laugh, I noticed. My eyelids felt heavy and they slowly closed on their own. I tried to stay awake, I really did, but I was really comfortable and I just wanted to sleep.
