I went straight into the living room to find Ella and the rest of our gang.
I needed to make arrangements for their stay. Meredith requested to stay in one of the independent houses near the packhouse to work on her potions. John said that having his own house was good for him and little Jenna because he wanted her to have her own space and be happy. Ella, whose room was near mine, said nothing. Little Jenna said, "Ella, are you coming with us?" "No, baby, but I will visit you frequently," Ella replied, smiling at her.
I took them to see the available houses. They chose two, one next to the other. I could understand how they felt. They felt like outsiders, for starters. They needed one another until they adjusted to the new environment.
