Lewana POV
The tension in the house is thick. Conrad and I flank Briana and Kane as we walk them to the east wing with our Beta's on either side. Once settled, we check on the pack. The soldiers roamed the house heavily armed making all the guests nervous. Most have retreated to their rooms to avoid the Alpha King's wrath. That's not going to stop him.
I go back upstairs and gently knock on the door. I enter to see Lady Brianna curled up on the bed in Kane's arms.
