"Jenny, will you marry me?" Jenny thought of that magical day when her boyfriend proposed to her. Jenny and Marc had been dating for well over a year, and he was her knight and shining armor. He was there for her during the accident and accepted her, not remembering who she was or where she came from. They met in the hospital where she was taken after that tragic day. She remembered being upset and driving in a snowstorm and somehow had flipped her vehicle. However, she was found nowhere near snow and there was no record of a vehicle accident. She could not explain it and never revealed all of that day, since she already sounded crazy enough about the vehicle and about the snow. She remembered Marc telling her that it was OK, that he did not think she was crazy and even joked around about her being a felon on the run and that he accepted her just as she was. Jenny closed her eyes and smiled at the thought of Marc and how lucky she was to have him. Taking a happy sigh she opened her eyes at the sound of the beep of the elevator reaching the floor of her destination. She was heading to Marc's office to discuss the venue they had agreed upon not being available. She wanted to surprise him with some lunch as well. She already knew about Marc's past and knew that he was dealing with so much and had issues with anger. He had taken it out on her twice already, and she forgave him because she understood the frustration, because he promised he would not hit her anymore. It's been over three months since he last let his frustrations take over him. Arriving at his office door, she breathed in nervously as if it was their first date, fixed the wisps of hair falling into her face. "Surprise Baby!" Jenny stated as she opened the door to Marc's office, but the office was empty. She did not remember him mentioning any meetings today, but that didn't mean he was not in a meeting. He was manager of the firm, meetings happened out of the blue all the time. She tried sending him a fast text, which resulted in a ding coming from his desk. She walked over to the desk and put the plate down and scrolled through the messages and saw the one before her message at the moment was from the boss, Gina. Gina stated that she was waiting for him in the conference room. Gina had been to the house a few times. After all, Jenny had no place to go and Marc that took her to his home after she was released from the hospital. Leaving the plate on the desk Jenny left the office and went in search of Marc in the conference room. As she approached the conference room she heard what sounded like Marc talking. She didn't want to interrupt abruptly, so she continued quietly to the door and carefully opened the door to listen in to see if it was appropriate for her to barge in, but what she heard stopped her in her tracks. "Marc, how can you even think of marrying her, she is nothing and has nothing compared to what I can give you!" clearly it was Gina reprimanding Marc for being with Jenny/ "Baby, you know you are my heart, my life, you're the only one I want! I told you it's a hell of a sacrifice, but it's for OUR future baby. I told you she came from a wealthy family! The stupid b***h does not know she has a family. I am just using her to get what is hers, and then she will be out of our lives." At this point Jenny has tears streaming down her face. She could not believe she was hearing this correctly. Marc thought marrying her was a sacrifice but also said she had a wealthy family. Meaning he knew who she was and kept it a secret. Jenny was able to look inside the conference room without being spotted. " Marc, prove to me, it is me and only me you want" Gina did not have to ask twice. Marc lifted her up on the conference table and pulled her panties down, pushing her into a lie-down position and started licking and sucking her down on her parts. Since Gina had a skirt on, it was not hard for Marc to gain access. Nor did Gina resist, it was an act that came as casual to the two that Jenny already knew this had been going on. All Jenny knew at that moment was run, run as fast as she could. She didn't bother taking the elevator and ran down the stairs. Through her tears, she jumped in her car and took off. She needed to get away and fast, she would swing by the house and get a few things first, especially her four-legged baby Grizzly. Grizzly, a German Shepard gifted to her from Marc. She would leave everything else behind, but not him. Pulling up to the house, she wiped her face from the tears. Marc had a security camera system, and she was not going to give him the pleasure of seeing her cry or give him a heads up she was leaving, the last thing she needed was the he show up. She just needed to grab the dog and the cash she had been saving up. Just as she was getting out of the car, her phone went off. It was a message from Marc. "Honey did you come by the office today?" She texted back really fast stating that she didn't, and that she was just getting home from the wedding planner and that she was in the mood to go to the park with Grizzly. He replied almost instantly, "Strange. There is a plate with a sandwich on my desk and a prior message from you stating you were here, why are you lying to me honey?"Jenny panicked and ran up the stairs two steps at a time. "Jenny answer me, I am headed to the house. We will take Grizzly together" Jenny's heart could not go any faster at this time, she was fully panicked. Not only did that rat bastard cheat on her, play with her and knew who she was while keeping it a secret, his comment about lying to him already had her on edge. The last time he accused her of lying to him, she did not leave the house for a week due to the hand print he left on her face. She needed to move fast before he got there. She got the cash, took a couple of shirts and shorts and stuffed them in her purse. Then turned and ran to look for Grizzly and his leash. "Jenny answer me damn it! I am almost to the house. You better be there and you had better explain why your not answering me!" Where in Gods green earth is Grizzly's leash, after what felt like forever she found it and that is when she heard the front door slam. "JENNY!!!" She had to think fast. She turned down the volume on her phone. He knew she was there but how would she get out of this one. She sent him a text, stating she was in the bathroom. All ready, with Grizzly on a leash, she waited to hear Marc run up the stairs. She could hear his shoes hitting the stairs the same way she had, two at a time. She had to move now, or she would be caught. She ran out the side door with Grizzly to the car. With her heart pounding she locked the doors, turned on the car and started to leave when she saw Marc's furiously running towards her. Hands shaking and tears falling, she sped away like her life depended on it, and it did depend on it.
