Chapter 7

*DYLAN*

It’s been a week and I’m finally getting out of this hell. Aaron and Jasper have not let my side for a single second. Jasper and some of his friends moved my things from my apartment and into the family mansion. I still don’t know what to think about Dr. Romano, he makes me feel things, but I still don’t know what to do. He is my doctor and I’m his patient, that would be unprofessional, right?

“Ugh! What is taking so long?” I asked Aaron as I crossed my arms around my chest.

Aaron let’s out a small chuckle while Jasper lifted his gaze up from his phone and smirked.

“I want to get out of here! I want a hamburger” I say whining.

“Mom is making you dinner, so no hamburger” Jasper said as he moved his gaze back down to look at his phone, he is probably doing business. He has been gone way too long from his world, because of me.

The door to me room opens and in came the devilry handsome Dr. Romano. I take a deep breath to control my thoughts.

“You will come to the hospital and I will look over your wounds once a week and then once a month to check up on your casts, okay” Dr. Romano asked, and I nod.

“That will not be necessary, we will be taking her to the family doctor. Thanks for everything though” Jasper said as he crossed his arms around his chest. He is no longer looking at his phone.

“I’m sorry, but I have been her doctor for the last week, I don’t trust anyone to not f**k up my work” Dr. Romano said as he faces Jasper head on. I don’t know what do and neither does Aaron as he stays seated and only looking at the two-man having a staring contest. But he is ready to jump into the situation if it escalates.

“And I trust the family doctor more than you. Beside the decision has already been made. Like I said we thank for everything that you have done. But we will take it from here” Jasper said looking dead in the eye at Dr. Romano. I hear Dr. Romano let out a growl as he leaves the room and closes the door abruptly.

“Well, that was aggressive” Aaron said as he slumps into the chair. I let out a breath and also slump back into the hospital bed, thanking God that the situation didn’t escalate.

After a few minutes, a nurse walked into my room saying “I’m sorry about Dr. Romano. He is not an aggressive person. He just likes to take really good care of his patients and doesn’t trust easily other doctors to finish his work without damaging the work he has already done” The nurse said as she stands in the middle of the room and looking between me and Jasper.

“Yeah, he really likes to take personal care of his patients” Aaron said in a mumble and a chuckle. I give him a glare and he laughs a little more, and I just roll my eyes at him.

“Here are the discharge papers.” The nurse said with an awkward cough as she hands me the papers to sign. I sing them and give them back to here, she gives me a smile and I return it. I’m finally free.

After leaving the hospital Jasper stopped by a*****e to buy me a wheelchair even though I told him not to, but he just waved me off. The gates to the family mansion open up and the guard gives Jasper a nod. The driveway leads us to the castle looking mansion, I will never get tired of how beautiful this place is. Jasper parks his car, and Aaron is the first one to get out and he goes to the back to get my wheelchair. Jasper opens my car door, and he picks me up bridal style. He gently places me on the wheelchair. And he starts pushing it.

Aaron opens the front doors of the mansion and Jasper carefully pushes my chair.

“Dylan you have gotten more beautiful” Are the first words I hear once we enter the mansion. I look around and meet a pair of dark hazel eyes looking directly at me from the last step of the stairs.

“Leonardo it’s good to see you! I have missed you papa” I say as I clap my hands excitedly at him. He lets out a chuckle and walks towards me. Leonardo is Aaron and Jasper’s dad, but he also became my dad once I left my family. His black hair is styled back and not a single hair is out of place, now his eyes are hazel just like Aaron and Jasper’s, only that very much darker, he has toned skin color which complements his looks perfectly and more when he only wears black.

“It’s good to see you too ocean eyes” Leonardo says as he gives me a hug, but carefully to not hurt anything. A screech from the top of the stairs pierced my ear and I can hear Aaron and Jasper wincing at the noise. I small blur comes running towards me and starts jumping right in front of me.

“You are okay!” She says will giving another piercing screech and bouncing up and down.

“Ophelia, stop with the screams, my ears are already bleeding” Jasper said as he let out an irritated sigh. Ophelia rolls her eyes at her older brother. Now even though Ophelia is the younger one of the family with only being 15 years old, she is also one of the feistiest. Her black hair is in a high ponytail, her eyes are light brown, just like her mother’s.

“Sorry, but I have missed you so much!” Ophelia said as she caresses my hair and I let out a small giggle.

“And she is alive.” A voice said from the kitchen door followed by a chuckle.

“Ah the twins” I said as I looked at the both of them. Ares and Athena the middle ones of the family with being 18 years old. While Ares has black hair, Athena has the blond platinum hair. Now Athena has her father’s hazel eyes and Ares has his mother’s light brown eyes. They both walk my direction and Ares gives me a kiss on the check while Athena winks at me.

“You okay sis?” Athena asked and I nod at her.

“Sorry I’m late to the party. I was cooking and as you know, none of my kids help me in the kitchen. That is why you are my favorite, always helping me out in the kitchen” A voice from the kitchen said, she emerges from the kitchen and walks towards the crowed of people which are her kids and husband. All the kids give out a groan and roll their eyes at their mother, while I let out a chuckle.

“Well, I won’t be of much used now” I say with a shrug.

“Nonsense at least you can still give me company in the kitchen” Camila said with a smile on her face. Camila the mother of us all, she has her blond platinum hair in a slick ponytail, her light brown eyes shine under the light, and her caramel skin tone is smooth and perfect. Now this is my family. They will always look out for me and will always protect me. I love them with my whole heart, and I would not change them for anything in this world.

“I heard you were making my favorite for dinner?” I asked as I lift up my nose to the air and it catches the scent of lasagna, my all-time favorite.

“Yep! Lasagna with extra cheese” She said while crossing her arms around her chest. “Now come my dear kids, let’s eat!” Camila said with excitement and everyone follows her into the kitchen.

“Welcome back home Dylan” Jasper whispers into my ear and I blush at his words. He is right, I should have never left this house in the first place.
