Chapter Twenty Two- Sawyer "What do you mean, a new threesome?" I ask over the phone. "Master said that some short guy came in the other day with two bigger guys about getting permitted to join the club. He said they're a throuple and the they switch being doms and subs, but the small one seems to be the dom most of the time." Noel answers, making me hum. Being called the Threesome started out as a way for the other subs to tease Elliot and I, but it became more of a good title. I know that we aren't a threesome anymore, but I don't like the idea of some new people taking our name. "I guess I'll see them tomorrow when Teagan and I come. Candace said she's busy though so I'll have to leave Will in charge. Thanks for telling me. See you for dinner tonight." "Yeah. Love you." "Love you too." I answer before hanging up the phone. I walk up the stairs to head to Julian and Frankies room where Will and Frankie tend to play their video games. When I get there, I push the door open and roll my eyes. Will isn't here, but Frankie and his friend are on his bed 'studying'. By studying, I mean that the books are opened and scattered across his bed, but rather than paying attention to that, they're liplocked. I sigh and clear my throat. Frankie pulls away instantly and his face heats up when he sees me. At first it's red from embarrassment, but clearly turns to anger instead. "Can't you knock? I never get any privacy." "Start paying bills and you can have all the privacy you want." I answer, leaning against the door frame while glaring at his little 'friend'. They're not really friends. That kid is the infamous Mason that Frankie has had a crush on. The one that beat Frankie up and got Will suspended. "You're lucky I'm too old to hit children." "I know I made mistakes in the past, but I won't do it again." He assures me. I remember what it was like to want to be with someone. I remember the crushes and feeling like I was on top of the world when I heard that someone liked me back. Even if it will end in heartbreak, I don't want to take that away from Frankie. "Hit my brother again, and I'll cut your hands off." I threaten him before rolling my eyes again. "No s*x, but if you're going to make out, at least lock the door. If it was Will who walked in, you'd both be dead." I leave afterward and start walking towards my bedroom, grinning when I open the door. Teagan is laying on the bed with Alistair on his bare chest. He's been doing a lot of research on babies. Apparently skin to skin contact helps establish familiarity. It also puts the baby at ease. I never did any of this stuff with the other kids, but Teagan seems pretty intent on making sure that we raise this one as our child rather than a sibling. "Hey." I mumble, climbing in bed with him to kiss his cheek. He turns and smiles at me before leaning in to kiss my lips. "I have something for you. I asked Candace to take care of the little ones." I tilt my head as he stands to put Alistair in his crib. "I already gave her the monitor and everything so let me put my shirt on and we can go." "It's a gift we have to drive to?" "Yep." "You're not saying much for someone who talks a lot." I mention. He just smirks while buttoning his shirt. "You're asking a lot of questions for someone who never talks." "Touché." I let him take my hand and lead me to his car. I get in the passenger seat and enjoy the drive. The way we're going takes us further from the city, so I know we aren't going to his penthouse. Rather than letting my curiosity consume me, I just look out the window and watch the trees passing by. It only takes about 10 minutes for him to turn into a long driveway. I furrow my brows when I see the house. It's gigantic, but doesn't look familiar. He gets out of the car and walks to my side to open the door for me before leading me up to the porch. "Whose house is this?" "Ours." He answers simply. My breath catches in my throat as I stare at him, feeling my heartbeat much quicker. "What? No, you can't do that, Teagan. What the f**k? You can't buy me a house!" "It's not for you. It's for us." "What about the kids? I just adopted half of them, and I can't just expect you to take care of them." "You're not asking me to. I'm offering. Besides, there's 9 bedrooms which is plenty for them." "This is in a different school district." "Right on the edge actually." "Well you said you'd never move out of the city." I argue, trying to find any reason for this to not make sense. I can't accept this like it's a little gift, can I? He's bought me a ton of things, but a house with 9 bedrooms is pushing it. No way can I agree to that. I'm not mooching off of him for money, and I don't want to do anything that makes it seem like I am. "You love being far from the city." "We aren't even dating!" "Oh right. I almost forgot about that." He mumbles, fumbling to pull something out of his pocket before kneeling on one knee. "What the f**k, Teagan!" I shout at him, taking a step back as my heart speeds up even quicker. I feel like I'm going to have a heart attack. He can't be serious, right? This has got to be a joke or a dream or something. "Sawyer Grayson-" "I'm not marrying you so stand up." "It's not a proposal, i***t. I'm asking you to be my boyfriend." He explains, making me calm down slightly. "Anyway. Sawyer Grayson, for these past few years, you've been everything I could've asked for in a friend and a sub. You mean so much to me, and I never truly realized just how important you are until recently. We brought Elliot and Beau into our relationship, and I expected to click with them the same way I did with you. For a while, I convinced myself that I just didn't know them well enough to care for them the way I care for you, but now that they've left, my mind is less clouded. It's impossible to ignore how much I love you. It's impossible to keep pretending that it's nothing more than a b**m relationship. The thing is, you're special to me, and I hope that someday in the future, I'll be able to replace this ring with one made of diamonds." I bite my lip when tears start streaming down my cheeks. When he takes the ring out, I notice that it's just a simple silver band with and infinity sign pattern all the way around it, and with a closer look, I see the word 'twosome' engraved on the inside, making me laugh softly. "You're so cheesy." I whine, reaching up to wipe my face while he puts the band on my ring finger. He stands up and grabs my hips to pull me up against him, pecking my lips with a wide smile. "It's our house where we'll live when we get married and where we'll raise the rest of your kids. Where we'll have our family. I love you, Sawyer, and I want to take a leap of faith here. Will you jump with me?" I think for a minute before nodding quickly. "I'll jump." *** "We're moving?" Noel asks while we all eat dinner. The younger kids are at the small table, but they didn't have much to say about the situation. "I don't want to go to a new school. I like my teacher." Julian mutters, playing with his food. "Same here. It would suck moving right when sophomore year starts." Frankie whines. "You'll be in the same school district." I inform them. "Well it's further from where Dax lives. And the club which is my job if you forgot." Noel huffs. "You'd get your own room." I negotiate, making him perk up. "Okay. I'm in." "What about the rest of us?" Frankie asks, making me smile. "Teagan actually bought the house so he can tell you about the room situation." "Right." Teagan says, starting to explain. "The biggest room is for Sawyer and I and I did the rest based on oldest to youngest. Noel and Candace both get their own rooms. Will, Frankie, and Julian get their own rooms too. Cameron and Carter would share a room. Lottie and Carson would share a room, and we'd have a nursery for Alistair." "How come Teagan gets to decide? He's not our dad, and it doesn't seem fair that we have to listen to him anyway-" "Well, according to the law, I'm your dad, and since Teagan is my boyfriend, and I respect his opinion, I'm choosing to listen to what he thinks about the situation. I don't really care if you think it's fair or not, because after all the s**t he's done for you guys, the least you can do is listen to him and be respectful. Got it?" I snap at Julian, making him look down at his plate and nod. "I just don't like things changing." Julian admits, making me sigh and stand up to walk over to him. I wrap my arms around him and kiss his forehead. "Everything is going to work out just fine. I promise." "Okay." "Awesome! I'll help pack the little kids stuff when I finish with mine. I can't wait to tell Dax I get my own room!" Noel squeals before running up the stairs. It's still a little weird to have him hanging out at the club all the time, but we've surprisingly got closer. I like that he's more like my friend now than my child. It was hard for me to accept that he's not a little kid anymore. He's not that 9 year old child that couldn't understand why our parents left us. He's an adult. "Sawyer." I turn to Teagan and smile when he kisses my cheek. "I love you." "I love you too."
