Alpha Wollet's pov

I hope that boy will be fine. I know he is stronger than he looks. I didn't know my gammas were taking advantage of him. I was so disgusted when I found out. I had to let the boy go, but I didn't know how. Thanks to the rejection, I had an excuse to send him away from here. I know he got his wolf last night and it must be a strong wolf because I knelt into submission in my own room and I knew it was time.

I was to train him and prepare him for his crown but I failed. After my sweet Amellia, my sweet mate, died, I lost myself in the pain and lost my very being. I can't even stand my own pack and son.

I have to contact the next royal guardian and explain the situation. " Dragos, the bird has left the nest. It has awoken with no training and on the run to you. I failed." I hung up the phone and waited for my death. I accept my punishment fully because I failed my future king and the royal family.

The dark figure is standing at the corner waiting to take my life because of my failure. " Your death will be the beginning of your pack's curse, they will die slowly and painfully. As for you, I have something else planned for you." Hades collects Wollet's soul and locks him to witness the demise of his pack.

It was because of him that the pack mistreated the future king and the most divine being ever created by the gods. He will watch the fall of the Black Den pack and share in their pain.

Anita's pov

I never thought a mate's death would be this painful, but I will get over it, finally two steps closer to my dream. I have to get rid of this stupid alpha boy, he keeps on following me like a love-sick puppy.

He is so stupid he even rejected his mate just for me. I can't wait to get rid of him. His father was buried yesterday. Yadi yadi yada I don't give a s**t. I am a luna now and I will drag this pack into the mud, just wait and see how it plays out.

Everybody thinks I'm the beta's daughter, but they saved me from my previous pack which was burned to the ground by this pack during some stupid war. My family was killed. According to Thom, the current beta and my adoptive father, Wollet killed my family, which was the current alpha family. According to the King, my parents were power-hungry wolves and they were warned several times to change, but nothing!

Stupid parents, they didn't have patience in them and that killed them. I will wait until the next Alpha king sits on his throne, then I will make my move.

Drago's pov

"Who took that baby to Wollet!!" I asked the whole guardian council, rage and disappointment evident in my aura. I am so mad at these people. How we didn't see this and how the royal prince ended up in the Black Den pack.

" Maybe the queen teleported the child before she passed away, she always said something was wrong with her visions. Someone was after the prince and her powers may have taken over when she felt the danger was near." Malia said .

Malia is a seer and guardian, a rare combination, but her guess could be just right. " We must confirm your speculations, I have to see what you saw and heard days before the queen died." I said, looking at Malia and she nodded.

The rest of the meeting continued as they gave me the responsibility of taking care of the prince and training him. I know my mate will be honored to handle the training. She is the most feared assassin in both the human and supernatural worlds.

I smirk knowing how much fun she's going to have. I end the meeting being the royal warlock and the head of the guardian council. I have a lot of work to do.

First, the guardian council is a secret agency, only the king and queen know about it, plus the chosen guardians. The Moon goddess chooses us. The guardians are not necessarily werewolves, but she chooses from all the ten species. The werewolves, vampires, witches/warlocks, fairies, sirens, cat shifters, the mer community, which includes the mermen and mermaids, werebears, dragons and nymphs.

The council consists of the best warriors and others with rare abilities. We train the royals and protect them from everything and anything. The next prince to the throne will be king of all the supernatural beings and this happens every 500 years and the werewolves are to have the throne after the dragon king steps down during the blue moon. This will be on the royal princes' 21st birthday.

The current werewolf king has been training his royal beta's son, Rufus Blade. He is the most selfish boy I have ever seen. Nobody in the kingdom talks to that stupid boy. On the other hand, his father is the most loved by the people. After his mate died when giving birth, he dedicated his life to raising that boy and loved him unconditionally.

The king grew to love him too because his beta is his best friend and he had lost hope of ever finding his son the crown prince. He believes he died when the queen died. That day he went on a rampage, killing over 10,000 rogues before he came back to his senses.

Now I know that the prince is coming to me, but I can't trust the king, he will be too happy to keep it a secret. Once he is well trained, I will introduce them and they will have to keep it low. I am so happy knowing that the throne will be in good hands. I hope he has his mother's heart and his father's abilities.

" Hello sweetheart," "Hey dad, you coming home already? " " Yes, please prepare the guest room. We have a guest coming this evening." I told my daughter through the mindlink. " Okay dad, and dad I have to tell you something when you arrive." " Is everything okay my baby, what happened?" I asked. " Just come home first then I will tell you and mom." "Okay my baby I'm on my way, I love you." " I love you too." I block the mindlink and rush towards my home, I feel something is terribly wrong with my baby girl.

Mayllyn's pov

Today is a very beautiful day. Yesterday was my birthday. The day I can finally meet my mate, sweet sixteen, here I come. I am so happy to go to school, I don't care if I will be bullied. I just have this feeling that today will be great.

" Hey Selene, how are you today." I asked my wolf, she has been really quiet since yesterday and I'm worried about her. Even Lene is quiet and she is the cheery one, she's my witch side and they never gang up on me, not on such a special day. Maybe they are resting and getting ready for training.

I just shrug and get ready for school. I'm skipping down the stairs to find my mom preparing breakfast and dad hugging her from behind. I smile at them and my heart is yearning for that type of love. Oh goddess, please bless me with a good mate.

" Good morning mom and dad, please get a room." I say as I gag at them, kissing. " Hey sweetheart, are you ready, you know you can meet your mate today." Dad asks and smirks. I laugh at how cheeky he looks, but mom is staring and I flinch.

" Goodbye guys , I've got to run. I love you." I said as I ran out the door and got in my car and drove to school. I got out all happy and smiling. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I walked towards the school and passed everybody, not bothering to look at them.

I skipped to my locker and got out my books for first class. After closing the locker, a hand slammed on it, making me jump. I turned and came face to face with Rufus freaking Blade, that stupid hot boy and my biggest bully.

" If it ain't my freaking mate, the moon goddess is really something else. She just had to pair me with an ass and stupid, weak as f**k girl." he said, and that's when it hits me, I can smell him, he is my mate? A pang of pain hit me and I slid down my locker shaking just because of the pain.

" Oh no." I said, looking at him and he smirked. " I, Rufus Blade,, future alpha king, reject you Mayllyn Dust, as my mate, I can't even call you future queen you are a disgrace!" He spit on my face and kicked my stomach. "I accept yo-yo-your rejection." I tell him crying my eyes out.

This hurt so much, is this punishment for not standing up to my bullies or does the goddess hate me so much to pair me with such an ass, " Hey, May darling, we've got you. Don't cry for that stupid boy, you know he doesn't deserve us." Lene tells me " Yes, even his wolf is as stupid as him. We kinda knew this would happen. That's why we were quiet and we needed to be strong for you. Let us take away your pain, May." Selene says.

I am surprised as the pain disappears and I can walk. Well, let me just go to class and mind my own business. I won't cry for such men and I am stronger than that. I am a badass hybrid with powerful magic and crazy ass training. Nothing can bring me down.

My day was a blur, I was bullied more than ever as everybody heard how I was rejected and, funnily, I didn't feel the pain nor was I embarrassed. At the end of the day, I went home. When I entered the house, a sharp pain burned my whole body. Damn it that asshole if f*****g some w***e.

I screamed my head off and my mom came rushing to me. " Who is doing this to you!" Mom asked and I shook my head . I will tell her after the pain passes . So she carried me to my room and placed me on my bed. She stormed to my bathroom and came back pressing the cloth on my head and all over my body.

We stay like that for two hours and I know he is doing this on purpose. My wolf is whimpering with pain and my witch is trying to block out the pain as much as she can. Finally, it stops and mom is livid. She wants to go on a rampage and kill him and I know she will. So I won't tell her until dad comes back home.

After resting for a while, dad mindlinked to tell me to get the guest room ready for a guest. Selene and Lene perk up their ears and suddenly they want to know more about the guest. I told dad to hurry back home as I blocked the mindlink.

After dinner, I told them about what happened at school and mom told him how I was in pain and it broke me to see my parents angry, sad and heartbroken. I went and hugged them and told them what Lene and Selene told me about how they already knew that this would happen.
