May’s pov

I was woken by a loud bang. I sat up straight in bed and saw two men on the floor panting before I screamed for help. Drew and my dad walked out of an invisible doorway holding another man and they dropped to the floor panting and I jumped up shrieking. I ran towards them, “ What happened to them dad?” “Call your mother, hurry please, they need medical attention.” dad tells me. I ran out of the room, bursting into my parents' room ,” Mom! Wake up. We need you to come with your medical kit. Please hurry!”

“ I’m coming!” she woke up, running to her closet to get her things. I ran back to open the guest apartment down the hallway on our floor. “ Hurry guys, he is bleeding out, mom’s on her way. Lay him down gently dad.” I told them. The other two guys come in limping looking at the one on the bed with worried eyes. “ Please hold on, Micah, we can’t lose you either.” they say, looking at Micah, who is struggling to stay conscious.

Mom rushes in, “ Move everybody and give me some space. By the goddess! Hey love, you have to take away his pain if you want me to save his life,” she says, looking at dad. Dad nods and moves forward to Micah’s side and chants away a spell, effectively relaxing Micah and he falls asleep instantly. We are all relieved he is asleep and walk out of the room, leaving mom to do what she does best.

We all walked down the stairs to the living room and everyone sat down waiting to find out how Micah would be. I looked at each one of them until my sight landed on Drew, who was holding my arms like he’s holding on to life. “ What happened and how did you go back to that horrible pack?” I asked him. He turns to look at me and he brings me closer to him. He keeps his head in the crook of my neck and sniffs my scent. His tense body relaxes. We stay like that for a while, then he pulls away but holds me close. He turned and looked towards the others in the room. It looks like my dad is also waiting for an explanation.

“ Okay, after falling asleep I had a nightmare. It was a memory the night before my sixteenth birthday,” Drew says, looking at the two men sitting in front of us. They gasped, looking at the floor feeling ashamed, but for what? “ That memory woke something in me.

First it was anger, then Apollo got livid. I woke up and went to research in Drago’s office. Something snapped in me and I wanted to see them,” he says, pointing towards the two men. “ Then I was in your room and the urge to choke Stupid was so damn overwhelming,” he sighs, looking towards ‘stupid’, “ But I saw the whip marks on your back and it drove me insane and all of you were covered in whip marks . The last straw snapped when I saw Ass’ back. That’s when I growled, waking them up.” he says with a lot of pain.

I took his hand in mine and squeezed it for comfort. “ Love, calm down. Your power is choking them, they are going to be just fine.” He reined in his power and smiled apologetically towards dad. Dad just nodded and got back to his feet. “ So why were you being beaten,” I asked and they tensed up under my gaze. They looked up to Drew as if asking for permission and he nodded.

“ Well u-um we are triplets and we are gay,” one of them says. They look down ashamed. I gasped out loud, “ THAT’S ALL!” I shouted and Selene came forward and growled. I heard a whimpering. I looked towards them, they were bowed down and shaking from fear. “ That f*****g pack has to be burned to the ground! The moon goddess created them this way for a reason and those stupid mutts decide to beat it out of you!” I say, pacing around. “ Love calm down please. Your power is suffocating them,” Drew tells me, pulling me towards him, kissing my forehead and hugging me until Selene calmed down.

“ Stand up and don’t be scared, I am just angry and Selene couldn’t take it.” I say, giving them an apologetic smile. “ Damn you two, the next training is channeling your anger somewhere else otherwise the entire world will suffocate from the powers you are both emitting.” My dad says chuckling and shaking his head. “ So Drago can we trust them?” Drew asks. My dad walks towards them and holds their hands in his and closes his eyes saying a prayer to the goddess. They all go into a trance for like ten minutes, then they come back, he lets go of them and takes a seat panting.

After, he regains his strength and nods his head. “ They are to be your betas because they are from a strong line of alphas and very loyal.” dad says, smiling proudly at them. We all gasp at the revelation and stare at each other. “ Well, Micah is all healed and up. We went into a trance and the goddess showed us what their roles were. That means they are staying with us.” Mom says as she walks down the stairs, Micah trailing behind.

We all looked towards them and smiled, seeing Micah all healed up. After everyone sat down, Drew sighed loudly and we turned to him,” Goddess, my betas are stupid, jerk and ass. It’s like she is on a mission to get on my bad side.” He says, shaking his head and stands up growling. Apollo comes forward, “ It will take time before we forgive you. I know we saved you, but you will have to work for our trust, respect and forgiveness! Rise Artemis, Arkilla and Arzonian.” Apollo calls to their wolves and the three men kneel before Apollo.

“ So what do we call you guys,” I asked. “ I am Micael, the oldest. Then that is Mirael and you all know Micah, who is the youngest of us three. Drew calls us stupid, jerk and ass respectively.” Micael says. “ Why does he call you that?” I asked them. They all look down ashamed and sad, then Micah lifts his head, looking at Drew as if to ask for permission, but he walks out and heads to bed, leaving us all astonished. Drew is never rude or angry. Whatever they did must be terrible.

“ We were orphans in the pack and Drew helped us a lot.” Micah began telling us and we listened as they narrated everything about the abuse for two years. I was in tears when they finished telling us everything. I was angry at them for what they did to my mate. “ I don’t know why the goddess chose you guys to lead beside Drew, but I don’t think I can forget what you did to him, no matter what. Excuse me, I have a mate to go love the right way!”

I am so mad at the triplets, who even taught them how to love. Goddess, they have been through hell and they dragged my Drew along with them. Thanks to them too, they saved his life many times. No wonder he is torn in between.

Drago’s pov

These boys have been through so much, goddess, you decided to bring broken boys my way? How am I supposed to mend their broken hearts? It takes a toll on the young king and now his betas are as broken as him. Give me strength, moon goddess.

“You have to go to sleep after the night we’ve all had. Boys, your rooms are on that floor Micah was taken. Use the apartment wisely. There are clothes in each closet for you to change in and two bathrooms. Training begins at 5:00 am. You come late. You are on dish washing duty for a month.” I said, looking at them smiling. I took my mate’s hands to head up to bed.

“ You are taking us in? W-why?” Mirael asks. I turned to look at them and saw different emotions in their eyes. With tears in my eyes I said,” You boys have been through a lot and the goddess has blessed us with three more boys to love and cherish. You are to be the young king’s beta and we are also going to train you in combat, kingdom history and politics. You are to help and protect Drew from now on.”

Micah runs and hugs us while crying, “ thank you so much for not judging us. You will also have to teach us how to treat the people we love. We don’t want to make the same mistakes we made with Drew.” he says in between sobs. Llinet held him as he cried all of his pain out.

We walk the boys to their room and leave them to rest for the night.

May’s pov

Back in my room, I find my mate sitting on the balcony looking at the moon. I know he is talking to his wolf. I don’t even know what the goddess has planned for us. It keeps getting painful but I know she has a reason why she is choosing broken people to help rule with Drew.

I know broken people are the strongest people because they choose to live to see another day, they are hopeful for a better day tomorrow. Their pain and anger makes them strong in leading, combat, loving and caring.

I hold Drew’s hand and share this beautiful moment with him, he squeezzes my hand in return. Then we go into a trance, we are in a beautiful garden with beautiful moon flowers. The moon goddess makes her presence known and she takes us to another garden where we find a lot of people, including the current king of all supernaturals, King Sulivan and the king of the werewolves, our king Davin Walker and I bow to them, dragging Drew with me to bow.

“We are waiting for two more people,” the goddess says and turns to look at me as if I know the people she’s mentioning. My parents held each other as they walked in smiling. I know they are happy they have more children entrusted to them. They always wanted more kids but they couldn’t. “ Now, I called you here to introduce you to Damien Drew Walker,” the goddess says, and I hear gasps all over. King Davin stands up in a hurry with tears in his eyes.

“ My son!”, King Davin asked, still sobbing. “ Yes your son, King Davin, I have been with him from the day he was born. Through everything he has gone through, I was there and I sent him people to look after him.” she says, looking over at Drew.

“ The triplets,” Drew scoffs. “ Yes my boy. I am not defending their actions, but when they were small pups at three years, they used to see their father doing the same to their mother and they grew up thinking that is how you should love your partner.

They are so broken that’s why I sent them your way. They are the strongest to lead by your side and the most loyal to you. They will find their mates when they turn nineteen, which is in two weeks. You have to be there for them, you and Drago will show them what love is and how to love and let them follow in your footsteps.” the goddess says and turns to King Davin, “ You will not tell anyone of Drew, the people you trust the most are the reason your son grew up without his father.

Your beta family has been using you to get to the crown, and the current beta female is the one who murdered your mate. That’s why I sent Llinet to save the future of all supernatural kinds. Your royal warlock is currently protecting your son and his betas. You will tell the pack that his family is visiting to avoid suspicion. You have been so blind for so long, king Davin, that you can’t see how your pack is suffering under the beta and gamma families. If you don’t do this right, I will rein my wrath on you and those families.” we all gasped at the revelation.

King Sulivan, you have trained your daughter well, but we both know her dream is to become a protector, a warrior and that’s why she will be Drew’s gamma when the time comes for him to take the throne. I believe you know who to give your kingdom to,” she asks, and he nods. She turns towards King Tray of the bear shifters, King Truce of the cat shifters and King Taran of the fairies. Apparently, they are triplets. You wonder how that happened? I still can’t get my head around it.

“You three have been on great terms but you are hurting your sons. I made them that way. I made sure they are your young sons so that your kingdoms won’t loose their future leaders.” They all gasp and we are looking at them like ‘what’s happening’. The goddess continues,” They are made just for Drew’s betas and, yes, they will be carrying pups for the next generation. I am so excited about this new creation. They will be unstoppable.” The three kings are on their knees taking in the news that their sons will be the key to a new generation.

We are still shocked at these revelations. Nobody is talking, we are letting it all sink. We will be crossbreeding. That is unbelievable, then that means the kingdom will become one with just alphas under the throne. I gasped, looking up at the goddess in awe.

“You want one kingdom under one ruler, that’s why you are mating different species together.” I said, looking at the goddess. She smiles and then turns and looks at all the kings and queens in front of her,” Drew will begin the new royal pack. All packs will consist of all creatures. All kings should meet and divide the territories and make sure they all have water bodies for the mer-community, the water nymph and some of the sirens.

All the royalties will form the royal pack. There will be eleven royal packs. The eleventh pack will be formed by Drew, May and their friends and it will consist of all creatures. This will be the pure pack, it will be the largest and the one in charge of all packs. The current royalties will become the alphas of their packs. They will rule under one king.

You will all still be royalty because of Apollo and my blood running through all royalty. You are all still my children.

“ Goddess, we are not mixed breeds. How will we achieve being king and queen if we are just two species?” I asked, seeing the unfairness. She turns and looks towards Drew and me,” Who told you that you were just two species? What is Drew’s wolf name and your wolf name?” she asks, making both of us gasp.

“ It’s Apollo and Selene,” I reply and everybody gasps in shock except for mom, dad and the moon goddess.

“You both are the spitting image of the god and goddess of the sun and the moon. You are more than capable of ruling them and the most powerful couple I placed on earth. Your children will continue ruling and it has been written that your first born and first born to come will be born different species so as to keep the balance.” She explains and we all breathe in relief knowing that each species will have to rule and they will be our direct descendants.

“ Listen carefully, kings will not loose their royal blood nor their gifts, all omegas will have gifts starting from Drew’s reign, mixed mating is allowed. The goddess of love, Venus and I, have already tied souls to different species, therefore I don’t want to hear my children cry for their mates. Finally, there is darkness coming.” She says, and we are back in my room.
