Drew's pov

It has been weeks since I got here and been training with Llinet. Combat training is no joke, that woman will kill me one of these fine days! At night I have witch training, how to mask my scent and how to create new spells even though my witch side hasn't awoken yet. Apollo is taking this training seriously and pushing me to my limits.

I have a date with May on Friday and I don't know where she wants to go or anything she likes. Well, I will figure that out tomorrow. Drago has been tough on me, no excuses to cover up my failures even though he keeps saying I've got potential.

Apparently, I am behind king training and I need to catch up with the politics of both the supernatural and the human worlds. So that meant school for me. I start on Monday.

May has been distant with me, so today I plan on finding out what is wrong with her. I waited for her in her room just behind the door. I know she’s almost home in a few minutes. After five minutes, the door opens and she enters and I close the door.

She jumps at the sight of me, “May, I’m sorry if I have offended you in any way. I don’t want you to be distant with me, I promise I will try my best to be the best mate to you. Right now I don’t have anything to offer you, but I will try to open up to you and try to learn how to treat you better.” I said before she could say anything else.

“Oh love, I’m sorry you feel that way. It’s just I have to see my ex-mate in school every day f*****g different girls and the pain I go through is too much. I couldn’t let you in because you’ve been through so much. Until you mark me, that’s when our previous bonds will break.” She tells me with tears in her eyes.

I moved towards her to hold her in my arms. I need her to be fine. Marking her now will drain her with all my memories, but at least it will free her from an unfaithful ex-mate.” Are you sure you want me to mark you now, are you ready to see what I’ve been through over the years?”

“ Yes please, Drew, save me from this pain.” She said, looking in my eyes. I can’t say no to those green orbs. I see the need in them and something else. “ I have to warn you, we are going to have sleepless nights because of the nightmares I get.” I told her, tears running down. I can’t put her through this.

We hug each other for a while, “ Is there a spell to reduce the pains so that we can mark each other when we are in love and know each other better?” I ask her. “ There’s no spell to stop pains caused by the mating bond, only marking will break the previous bond. It’s okay if you can’t do it yet, we can wait.” She says, pulling out of my hold.

I grabbed her wrist and turned her around to face me,” Love, goddess knows how much I want to claim you and mark you. I don’t want you to go through my pain because you will feel everything I feel.” I told her. She takes my hands in hers and she looks me in the eyes,” I am willing to be with you through it, please mark me.”

Apollo is so happy to do it and he comes forward, canines elongated. She moves her head, showing her neck. I kissed her along her neck and shoulder blade to find the right spot. She moans at a certain spot and I know where to mark her, I bite into her. She screams while I hold her to my chest, rubbing her back and licking all the blood to make it heal.

Her door burst open and her parents barged in and looked at us worriedly. She is still crying in my chest and I can’t help it but my tears run down my cheeks to her shoulders.

“ What happened here, what did you do?” Drago asks me. “ She wanted to be marked to break the previous bond because that sonofabitch has been f*****g everything that walks!” I said, anger boiling in me. Apollo is livid.

“ Hey, love, calm down, you are leaking your power. Mom and dad can’t stand it.” She said. I turned around to look at them and found them rolling on the ground holding their stomachs and showing their necks to me. “ I DON’T KNOW HOW TO!” I said, going into a panic attack.

“ Breathe Drew, in in in, exhale.” We do this for a while until I calm down and rush to help Llinet up. “ I am so sorry, I didn’t mean to hurt either of you. I was just so mad and Apollo lost it, we couldn’t bare to feel our mate in pain.” I tell them. “It’s okay Drew, we didn’t know but breaking the previous bond requires both of you to mark each other to make it less painful for both of you.” Llinet says. “ Oh honey you have to mark Drew too to make your bond stronger,” Drago says looking at both of us.

“ Okay, will you guys excuse us please, so we can get on with it?” May tells her parents. They bow and walk out, holding on to the walls from exhaustion. We look at each other and in no time she is kissing and sucking my neck and shoulder blade until I growl in approval. I guess she found the spot. Then I felt it, the pain. I howl out in pain, shaking the whole house. I can feel the previous bond breaking and the new one snapping in place.

After marking each other, I carried her to her bed to get some rest. This really took a toll on us. I never imagined this was how I would be marking my mate. It was to be a beautiful moment for both of us not to run away from our ex-mates. I will never regret marking her. I am glad she is in my life.

We fell asleep after a few minutes.

I am back in Wollet’s pack in the dungeons, the stench of blood and rotting bodies is suffocating. Wolfsbane is leaking from the walls and I am sure the bars to the cage are made of silver. They don’t affect me, but I have to keep up the appearances. So I started screaming, “ Please let me out, it’s burning. HELP. HELP.” Nobody is there. I looked around and I saw a figure in the corner but it looked like darkness and a female figure.

I tried to hold on to the figure but nothing. Then the gates are opened and in walks my tormentors. “ Look what we’ve got here. A pretty boy for the big bad wolf, you are the sweetest little thing I’ve ever tasted.” one of them says as another drags me to the iron bed on the corner and he bends me over.

“ Please don’t do this, please I’ll do anything but not this.” I told them with tears in my eyes. They all laughed, the third one who was watching from the gate smiled and he stalked towards me. I recoil and hug the iron bed with all my might as if it will protect me from these monsters. “ Tonight we are going to have fun with the pack’s b***h. Boys remove his clothes. We are going to f**k him to oblivion, he will forget all the beatings that future wimp of an alpha gives him.” The third man says as he watched the other two stripping off my clothes. They all laugh, loving the sound of that.

I cringe at their touch, they always like to take on roles and make me call them names like sir or master. They are triplets and the gammas of this stupid pack, who would’ve thought that they are gay and love sharing their s*x partners. So far I know, I’m the only one who they rape and the only one who knows their little secret. I don’t know their freaking names so I just call them ass, jerk and stupid.

Stupid is the oldest and the gentle one apparently, Jerk is the second one and he just follows his stupid brothers everywhere, while Ass is the youngest and roughest, he doesn’t give a f**k what he does. Anytime with him, I can’t walk straight for one week straight.

“ If you behave tonight, we might go easy on you since you’ll be turning sixteen tomorrow.” Stupid says, smiling, but, ass can’t wait and rams in my hole making me shriek and jump a bit, tears running down. I can’t do this, so I go to my peaceful place and block everything out. After what feels like forever, but it’s two hours of them moaning and me crying my eyes out from the pain, humiliation,hurt and loneliness.

I came back to reality after I had the gates bang as they closed and Stupid said, “ We have to stop doing that to him,” “ You can stop but that b***h is mine!” Ass said, growling and blackness came over me.

END OF DREAM.

I woke up sweating all over, that dream woke up something in me. I feel my anger boil in me. Apollo is livid. He wants blood, their blood! I got off the bed, covering up May with the quilt and kissing her forehead. I left the room and went to Drago’s office to do some research on what I was feeling.

It’s like I could see the three tormentors right in front of me, they were sleeping peacefully in their beds. That irked me so much. How can they be so peaceful? I walked towards Stupid’s bed and the urge to choke him was so overwhelming, something stopped me. He had whip marks all over his body, most of them were still healing. My heart broke for him, then I moved to jerk and he had the same whip marks all over his back. I rushed to Ass's bed and the same sight but his was worse, he was bleeding and he couldn’t sleep.

I have to do something they are hurting, but why and who is doing this? I know I should be happy they are in pain, but this doesn’t sit right with me. I have to figure out what’s wrong with them. They are the only people who fed me and talked to me. Even after years of them sexually abusing me, they never beat me up, they even helped me clean up my wounds after being beaten up by the pack or the head warrior. They saved my life more than I could count. Apollo was burning with anger and it was driving me crazy.

I let out an earth-shuttering growl, it shook their rooms. Stupid woke up startled and looked in my direction. I stalked towards him, my eyes shining blood red due to the anger I felt, “ WHO.DID.THIS! Who beat you and your brothers!” I asked him, my body shaking with fury. “ TALK!” “I…It’s the pack,”he stutters. “ Why are they doing this?” “ They found out we are gay and they have been whipping us. We were demoted to omegas. Now we are the pack bitches.” he said, crying. I don’t know what happened, but I reached out my hands and wiped his tears away.

“ Who are you?” he asked. I looked at him and smiled, shaking my head. “ Drew? Is that you?” I turned to see jerk sitting on his bed and nodded. “ Yes it’s me. So after they left me for dead they turned to you guys?” I asked, looking at them. “ We are sorry Drew, w-w-we never meant to hurt you.” This time it’s ass stuttering I see tears in his eyes. “ We couldn’t rein in our urges and you were the prettiest boy we’ve ever seen. We wanted you in our lives. You were the only boy/person that talked to us after we lost our parents. We were the pack's orphans and you came to help us,” stupid said. “ and we grew attached to you, we couldn’t loose you. We wanted you in our lives but we chose the wrong path,” jerk said, looking down ashamed.

“Instead, we hurt you the worst way possible, our only friend and our only love,” Ass said, trying to sit up on his bed. I rushed to him and helped him to sit up. “What do you me by your only love?” I look at them shocked. “ We fell in love with you in the process. We were to stop abusing you when you turned sixteen. We were planning on running away with you to start a new life where we would work to earn your forgiveness even if we don’t deserve it.” Stupid said, looking at his brothers.

“ What? We can handle that another time. Right now I have to get you out of here. I will burn this pack to the ground!” I said, growling. We heard the door creaking and look towards it and Drago pops his head looking like he is lost.

“ Drew, where is this place and who are they?” Drago asks, mesmerized. “How did you open a portal? This isn’t even possible. Only dragons can do this and it takes years to master this.” Drago rambles on pacing in the boys’ room. “Enough, please help me take them out of here. They are going to kill them!” I begged. “ Why are they being beaten?” Drago asks. “ because the goddess made them gay and now they are deemed as abominations!” I told him, anger evident in my voice.

“ Okay, let me think. I don’t know if your portal is strong enough to transport all of them back to the house,” Drago says. “ Let’s try, because I can’t leave them to just die. They don’t deserve this even if they hurt me so much.” I said, standing up from Ass’ bed towards the door that Drago came from and it was surrounded with white light. I stretch out my hand to feel it and it feels cool like it’s calling me back to May, then I smile and an idea comes to me.

“ I know what to do.” I turned and looked at them. “ Okay stupid, go first,”I turned, looking towards him. He looked at me like I had two heads. “ I don’t know your names so I named you stupid , jerk and ass, “ I said, pointing at each of them, smiling at the names I gave my tormentors. Drago chuckles and says,” you better start moving before someone hears us.” Stupid and jerk jump to their feet and limp towards ass to help him up. “ Stop! Drago and I will help him. Come, please, I am transporting you to my mate’s room.” I told them and they nodded.

After they go through the portal, we help Ass up and carry him through the portal and it closes behind us. We dropped to the floor panting and we heard shrieking.
