A loud but firm knock resounded at the door to my office.I couldn't help but be on alert.I had an exhausting day and I didn't need anymore drama for the day.When Declan's scent reached my nose,I sighed with relief.
The daily events were still replaying in my mind, making me wonder what had actually gotten into my mate for her to behave so childishly when it wasn't her type.
Has she been bewitched?"I asked myself.
“Our mate has a reason for behaving this way. If we trust her, then we will know what her reasons are."my wolf whispered to me.
Another firm knock brought me back to reality:
