Chapter 1 C
With a devilish grin lingering on his chin, Peterson sat on the chair across from Nicholas. A smile spread across his face as he adjusted his sitting position to feel comfortable while Nicholas's attention is still focused on him. Nicholas raised a brow signaling him to speak.
"The deal is done, we're ready for a strike," he announced, attracting a little grin from Nicholas.
"Well done, Peterson. I can always trust you."
"When are we launching the attack?" Peterson inquired.
Nicholas raised from his chair, he circled the small room with his hand on his chin, a common habit he has abducted whenever he's thinking deeply and trying to find solutions to problems.
"Inform the pack, we're going tomorrow morning," he paused, looking at Peterson who is nodding in agreement before exiting the room.
Nicholas has been in his office trying to map an attack on Scar town, he has been planning this for a long while. He smiles, checking out the map of the small town on his table, he checked out the different corners of the marked points to confirm their plans.
There's a knock on the door, distracting him from his work, he looks at the door before muttering "Come in," the door opens immediately revealing Tracie, a pretty girl with green dark eyes, she smiles and catwalks towards Nicholas with her flowery silk gown which hugs her body perfectly giving her a perfect figure eight.
"To what do I owe this visit, Tracie?" Nicholas asked with a stern smile, the very one he is known for.
"Can't I visit my best friend again?" Tracie questioned with a frown.
"That's not what I meant Tracie and you know that," he smirks.
"I want to show you something, let's go!" She announced, flicking out of her chair while dragging Nicholas along.
Nicholas sigh while withdrawing her hand from Tracie. He loves following her on a small walk around the town, Craine town has a beautiful environment, full of many fun and exciting natural viewing places.
The street is calm, cold, and freezing on a November evening. People are covered up in the best possible way ever to prevent them from freezing up.
Tracie and Nicholas are not left out. As a prince and a warrior of Craine town, Nicholas is dressed in dark pants with a black coat that covers up his hands, he has a glove on. Tracie had a red coat on her silk gown with long shoes which cover up her legs.
"Let's take this route," Nicholas cajoled, turning to the other side of the street, the more busy street of Craine town where there's a general market for the people.
"Wow, see that!" Tracie exclaimed, running towards the displayed set of jewelry.
"How do you see this?" She shows Nicholas the new bracelet that caught her eye.
"Hmmm, looks good," Nicholas muttered hesitantly looking away from the Tracie's wrist into the small crowd that's gathered at the market.
His eyes caught something, his curiosity grows as he tries to see the person's face.
Jason sneaked into Craine town for a mission that he is carrying out. He wasn't alone, he came with his sister, Wine.
Wine is checking out some beautiful stocks at Craine market, Jason is about to protest but he can't, this has always been his sister's way, getting them into trouble.
"Wine, let's leave before anyone recognizes us as warriors from Scar town,"
"Can you feel anything?" Jason inquired, dragging his sister's arm away from the crowd of people.
"Chill bro," she whispers to his brother.
"I'm having an odd feeling," Jason walks out of the crowd while Wine trails behind, she doesn't feel like leaving the market just then.
"Can you feel it?" He inquired with his hands stopping his sister on their track, they both stood still for the moment.
Wine's expression changes as she started hearing some strange sounds, she turns around looking at the other part of the street but nobody is there. It's just the two of them on their way back to their town, it's a secret that exists in Craine town.
"I'm hearing something strange," she warns her brother, her left hand on her ear and her eyes closed trying to find out more about the sudden feeling.
Nicholas left Tracie in a hurry without notifying her of where he was going. He didn't get the chance to see the person's face but he felt strange when he saw him, the feeling that makes him follow them immediately after he noticed them leaving the market.
He saw his hoodie and the other lady dressed in an insanely odd manner, he couldn't see their faces but something is strange about the two of them and the way they were heading to the secret exists of the town. He wonders how they know they exist, and curiosity drives him to secretly follow them.
"Run Wine!" Jason held his sister's hand as they sprinted towards the street, to the secret exist.
Nicholas wonders how fast they are moving as he runs after them.
"s**t!" He spits out as he lost contact with Jason and Wine.
He brought out his phone and called Peterson.
"Tell the guards to block the secret exists. They are some imposters in town," he instructed and cut short, still running towards the exit.
Jason managed to get away from their tracker with this speed ability but they're yet to get out of Craine town.
"I'm out of breath," Wine complained, holding her chest while breathing in and out heavily. Jason is not affected because he's used to running faster with his super speed ability but Wine is not, she doesn't have his strength.
Jason stops as well, waiting for his sister to catch her breath.
"They are after us Wine, let's get out!" He reminds his sister with a part on her back.
"Yes, let's move," she mutters.
"You too are not going anywhere," someone said with a smirk and they both looked up to see his face, he smirks while working towards them with the other trailing behind him.
Jason and Wine's jaw drops, they have been caught and there's no way out. They should have known better than coming into Craine town in disguise.
"Come with us now!" The tall dark Man who has no smile on his face commands them, he signals to the guard to take them.
"Let them go!" A voice commanded, they turned to the other side of the street to behold the person.
