The billionaire’s Hidden Heart
Chapter 1: A Collision of Worlds
The morning sun rose slowly over Lagos, casting a warm golden glow across the university campus. Students walked in groups, laughing and chatting, but Aisha Bello walked alone. She held her old, slightly torn bag close to her chest as if it carried all her hopes inside it.
She had barely slept the night before. After closing late at the small restaurant where she worked part-time, she still had to finish her assignments. Her scholarship was her only chance at a better life. If she failed, she would lose everything.
“Just get to class on time,” she whispered to herself.
Lost in her thoughts, she didn’t see the tall figure walking confidently toward her.
Suddenly—
She collided with someone.
Her books fell to the ground, and her coffee spilled forward.
Gasps echoed around them.
Aisha slowly looked up, and her heart nearly stopped.
Standing before her was Zayn Adeyemi — the richest and most powerful student in the university. His white designer shirt was stained with coffee.
His dark eyes narrowed.
“Do you even watch where you’re going?” he asked coldly.
“I’m so sorry,” Aisha replied quickly, kneeling to gather her books.
Students began whispering. Some looked at her with pity, others with excitement.
Zayn stared at her simple clothes and trembling hands. She didn’t look like the girls who usually tried to get his attention. She looked genuine. Different.
For a brief second, something unfamiliar flickered in his eyes.
But it disappeared just as quickly.
“Stay out of my way,” he said before walking past her.
Aisha remained still, embarrassed and shaken.
She had no idea that this small accident would tie her fate to his in ways she could never imagine.
