Hopes on you

John woke up already late, he rushed to the bathroom brush as fast as he could and have his bath. He stayed with his parents in the countryside before he got admitted to a college in the city, now he have to live alone in an unknown place, catering for himself at the age of 18. "will it be cool today?" he said on his way to school, jogging and walking at the same time.Close to the school gate he saw students chatting as they walk comfortably to the gate,he stopped and whispered "I wasn't late after all" , walked cool through the gate looking around the beautiful school compound. "please where's the principal office" he asked a junior boy,"there" pointing towards the direction of the office the boy replied. He was brought to his class by the principal herself, he was shy so he faced down and the principal asked him to introduce himself to the class,he raised his head up and his gaze caught a girl at the back sit,he can't take his eyes off so he just go on introducing himself looking at her "Am john bruce, it's...uhm..very nice to meet you,I...hope we get along well" ,the class mumbled something he didn't hear but he didn't care.He was given a seat right in front of the girl,he sat down and thought "I pray I can concentrate, the distraction is behind me" . The bell rings and it was break, two guys from the front row seats run to meet john and introduce themselves "Am raymond, you can call me ray and he is author" ray told him"we can be friends right" john nodded, quickly they all went outside and author showed him around, ray was a good comedian as john would say he made him laugh as they walk."the principal looks weird in her glasses, I will tell her that when I graduate so I won't be expelled from the school" john and author laughed uncontrollable to Ray's joke, john walked backwards as he laughed,he hits Amanda and look back to see who it was he was shocked it was the girl from the class,"ohh....am really sorry"he apologized quickly and she replied"it's okay new boy" he doesn't like the way he called him so he properly introduce himself "by the way, am john and you are?" stretching his hand forward for a shake, Amanda didn't take the handshake but just replied"Amanda" she turned immediately and left him there.Ray and author went to him"hey bro, you should be careful around her, her boyfriend is tough" author told him and they all went back to the class. Amanda was brilliant,she answers questions from the teacher almost everytime and her mates also ask her for answers to the assignment given to them,she was proud and she looks like she's from a rich family. John decided to stay clear of her and also take the post as the best student in the class. John got home earlier than he had planned so he drew a time table for his reading and prepare dinner, he was thinking of Amanda as he eat slowly"she's so rude....but beautiful and also brilliant" he remembered what author told him"what does he mean by tough,......Maybe he's a bad guy".
