The Council called for an emergency meeting in the boardroom. They called to speak about Emerald's disappearance. There was another murder in the pack last night. Everyone was in a state of frenzy.
I couldn't care less about anything else. My mind was fixated on one thing - my mate.
Where could Emerald be?
I was so worried.
Bennie and Justin told me everything that happened - everything I had done. I listened in horror when they narrated it all.
I had no idea of a single thing. I can't remember rejecting her. Why would I do that in the first place?
I could never blame Emerald for my mom's death even if it was pinned on her. I know she can never do something like that.
