Early the next morning, I hopped into my car and made my way to Emerald's house.
One of my duties as a good boyfriend is to ensure that she gets picked up for school every day and I intend to do so.
I was a bit excited to see her because I had a surprise gift for her.
I hated how sad she was yesterday which is why I went to a gift shop early this morning to get her a gift. I hope she loves it. I got two things that reminded me of her.
In less than fifteen minutes, I pulled up in front of her house.
I looked at the carefully wrapped present. It was a soft, fluffy teddy bear with a cute pink water bottle tucked under its arm. I couldn't help but smile as I imagined the look on Emerald's face when she sees it.
