Story Time

Danielle’s POV

As I finished up my story of my boyfriend/ best friend, of my parents, of my entire life. There was so many emotions that went through his face during my story I’m not sure what emotion he was feeling now. We sit in silence for a moment that felt like forever. Before he finally spoke again.

“Are you going to break up with him now that I’ve found you?” I was shocked to say the least. I mean I know that humans are different with this mate bond, however I grew up from birth to respect the mate bond 100 percent. I would never take a mate for granted.

“Of course I am. I told you in I have waited all this time for a mate. I prayed to the Moon Goddess that even though I do not have a wolf please just give me a mate. She brought me you! I want you Aaron; I don’t want anyone else ever again.” I saw happiness shoot through his eyes and he started to smirk the sexiest smirk I’ve ever seen a man do. I don’t know what this mate bond feels like to him, but he gives my stomach butterflies just by looking and talking to him. The next few hours we sit in the room talking through everything, and Aaron let me know he wanted me to go back to Grey Sea Pack with him. I could finish my studies by homeschool and since I only had a month left before graduation if I choose to stay he understood why. Dr. Dennis came back in around Midnight to check on us. He was extremely happy we hit it off, so he went ahead and release me. Now, I am currently changing back into my dress to go to my house for the rest of the night. Aaron decided to walk me to my house to make sure I got home safely. I told him multiple times that he didn’t have to, however he wouldn’t have it any other way. Once we made it to the front porch we had talked about everything under the Moon about me and my life, and I was extremely exhausted. As I was about to say my final Goodbyes for the night he leaned up and kissed me on the cheek. Suddenly I felt it I felt the mate bond on my body. My eyes widened with shock that I could actually feel the bond; I instantly started smiling from ear to ear. I finally went into the house got ready for bed. For the first time in a long time I had dreams, and of course they were all about Alpha Aaron.

Aaron’s POV

After I kissed her goodnight, I felt like I was on cloud nine. I didn’t even kiss her on the lips, and she was already making me feel this way. I have never wanted someone so much in my life. I called my parents letting them know we would be spending more time at BlueMoon pack than we originally planned. I didn’t want to tell them that I have found my mate even though they figured one of the three of us did since we extended our stay. Mostly I didn’t want to tell them, because I am unsure what Danielle will choose to spend the rest of high school days at her now high school or if she’d rather come back and finish by homeschool in our pack. I pray she does I really don’t know if I can live without her for a month knowing she is here, with that man wh**e who calls himself her boyfriend. Connor I think that’s what his name is. The one thing I was sure about I could rip him apart and never give a crap. However, I did promise her that I would keep my distance from him unless he proved to be seriously harmful or abusive to her. I feel like the time here in Blue Moon will be a long next few days. I finally close my eyes to sleep, and all I see is her. I fall asleep peacefully thinking about the love of my life, my newly found mate.

Soon I found myself waking up; to only realize I sleep in late. It was now 6:04 AM. I decided to go ahead, and get in the shower. I couldn’t help the smile that was permanently engraved on my face. I hadn’t know Danielle for more than 12 hours, and she’s already making a huge impact on my life. I turned on the shower to get it warm before entering; I stripped off my boxers and jumped in the shower. As soon as the warm water hit my skin I immediately relaxed for a moment. My wolf, Hunter started to stir in the back of my mind.

“Dude, what’s wrong with you?” I ask.

“Honestly, I don’t know I feel so uneasy about something. Just have a feeling something isn’t right. We need to hurry.”

I didn’t ask anymore questions; Hunter is normally right about uneasy feelings I just hope this time it’s not because of our mate. I quickly washed and dried myself off before I could even put a shirt on I heard someone knock at my door.

“Come in” I tell them while throwing my shirt over my head. My Beta and Gamma swing open the door with concern written all over their faces.

“What is it?”

“Sir, we went on our morning run to let our wolves out. While we were coming back to the castle we pasted Danielle’s house. We saw a guy that was not her brother or her father coming out of the house.” I sighed knowing I couldn’t keep this away from both of them.

“Come in I’ll explain.” I tell them sternly. I tell them everything they need to know about this Connor boy, and their faces said everything they were thinking, surprise, shocked, and anger about what someone has been doing to their future Luna.

“Now I’m sure the reason Connor was there this morning was because Danielle called him over to call it quits with him. She told me she would do so today.” Both of their mouths circled in a “O” making everything make sense. Except the fact that Hunter is still pounding at the back of my mind telling me,”We need to go now!”

“No one speaks of any of this, not even your parents.” I’m speaking more to my Gamma than my Beta he was extremely close to his dad and I’m sure he is already busting at the seams to talk to him about all of this.

“Yes sir” they both said.

“Now if you two would excuse me I would like to go check on Danielle.” Both of them shook their heads, and parted the way for me to exit.

When I finally reached her house their was an eerie silence feeling the home. I knocked on the door several times, and no one answered. Hunter was insisting she was in the house. I knocked a few more times before Hunter took control and pushed open the door. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary, then it hit me blood flooded my nose. That’s all I smelt I ran up the stairs closer and closer to the blood until I reached a room with the door closed. I didn’t even knock this time I barged in, and seen something that make me hit my knees. Hunter immediately started howling from the pain in his heart.
