Logan
I pulled into traffic after work, headed to hang out with my friends at the club tonight. I finished meeting with my clients early, and Deidra wasn’t answering my calls, so I figured she was slammed with work. I wanted to invite her back over to my place and test out the showerhead I had installed. Suddenly the Bluetooth in my car rang, and spotting Deidra’s number across the screen, I answered.
“Dee, you missing me already?” I heard rustling in the background and cursing, which caused alarm bells to start blaring in my chest.
“Dee, you all right?” I questioned urgently.
“I’m fine, and I hit my foot against the desk. I was calling to check and see if you heard from your father. He said the decision would be made tomorrow,” Deidra said.
