Are You Happy Meeting Me?
People normally stop and stare
Under their scrutiny, I refuse to care
A little girl in a college building?
Oh come on! Who are you kidding?
I admit I am small and short
Like a lone marble in an empty court
But this little girl is a kiddo no more
This cuteness will make your eyes sore.
Sometimes I'm not confident of how I look
I'm far from that perfect girl in my romance book
But I believe I am so damn pretty
When nobody's sitting right next to me.
My hair is straight and long, my bun is messy
No lipstick, no blush on; my face looks empty
Got sneakers and heels, and a foot that can kick
My smile is sweet but can scoff if you make me sick.
I'm sometimes quiet and sometimes loud
Sometime's I'm shy, sometimes I'm proud
I'm normally happy and rarely angry
But jeez, I'm always hungry.
They say I'm innocent, can't hold any grudges
Said I am too kind, can give second chances
I am more than what your eyes can see
What? Are you happy meeting me?
