Chapter one _ Dream too real
The moonlight filtered softly through the curtains, casting a silver glow over the room. She felt him before she even saw him strong, warm, and impossibly close. His hands brushed her shoulders, gentle at first, then firmer, guiding her closer to him. Every nerve in her body awakened with a shiver. “Do you feel that?” he murmured, his breath hot against her ear, making her pulse spike. “I… I don’t know,” she whispered, heart racing. Her body betrayed her, leaning instinctively into his touch. His fingers traced along her arms, brushing her collarbone, sending goosebumps racing down her skin. She gasped softly, letting herself melt into the sensation. “You… you feel… incredible,” she breathed, a tremor in her voice betraying her. “Just relax,” he said, his lips brushing the shell of her ear. “Let me show you…” His hands roamed over her back, pulling her closer, and she felt the heat of him against her. Every movement, every subtle touch, ignited something deep inside her a longing she didn’t know existed. Her inner dialouge raced: Who is he? Why does it feel like I’ve known him forever? He leaned in, lips pressing to hers in a kiss that was soft at first, then deeper, demanding, leaving her breathless. She wrapped her arms around his neck, pressing into him, her heart pounding. Every brush of his fingers across her skin made her tremble, a delicious heat pooling inside her. “You like this,” he whispered against her lips, teasing, yet urgent. “I… yes,” she admitted, voice barely audible. God… I’ve never wanted anyone like this. He chuckled softly, a low, intoxicating sound, and kissed the side of her neck, trailing warmth down her shoulder. She shivered, tilting her head back, letting herself feel it all the closeness, the intoxicating touch, the undeniable attraction that hummed like electricity between them. Time slipped away. She felt herself getting lost in him, in the heat of the moment, in the way his body pressed against hers. Every glance, every whisper, every gentle brush sent her pulse soaring. Her mind swirled: Is this a dream? It feels so real… A soft laugh escaped him. “You’re trembling,” he murmured, his hand lingering at her waist. “Do you like that?” She bit her lip, trying to hold back a gasp, heat burning through her. “I… I do,” she admitted, feeling herself melt under his touch. He pulled her closer, lips brushing hers again, and for a long, suspended moment, the world outside ceased to exist. His hands trailed along her spine, along her arms, tracing paths that made her arch into him, trembling with anticipation and desire. And then her alarm ripped through the room, shrill and relentless. Her eyes snapped open, sunlight spilling across her face. She groaned, fumbling to silence the alarm. Her body still tingled, remembering his touch, his lips, the way he had held her. She lay there for a moment, heart racing, trying to steady herself. It was just a dream… just a dream… she repeated, though her body refused to believe it. She could still feel him—the heat of his skin, the warmth of his hands, the lingering memory of his lips. Throwing the covers aside, she jumped out of bed, running to the bathroom. Cold water on her face did little to erase the memory. Her reflection stared back at her—flushed, wide-eyed, and almost trembling with the remnants of desire. “Why does it feel so real?” she whispered to herself, running a hand through her hair. I can’t let it get to me… it’s just a dream. Breakfast was a blur. Her hands shook slightly as she sipped coffee, the bitter taste barely registering. Her roommate, Clara, peeked in, raising an amused eyebrow. “You look… awake,” Clara said, smirking. “Late night?” She forced a smile. “Yeah… something like that,” she said, her inner dialogue screaming at her: Don’t tell her. She wouldn’t understand… and I can’t explain it anyway. Clara laughed softly and left, and she was left alone with the lingering heat of the dream, every nerve still buzzing. Her commute was no better. Every stranger she passed made her heart flutter with an irrational hope that he might appear, his piercing blue eyes catching hers in a crowded street. No… it’s impossible, she scolded herself. It’s just a dream. At work, she almost spilled coffee on a client’s documents, earning a raised eyebrow from a colleague. “Rough morning?” She forced a laugh. “Yeah… something like that,” she replied, trying to steady herself. But her mind kept drifting back to him every lingering touch, every whispered word, every tremor of desire. By the end of the day, exhaustion weighed on her not from work, but from living in two worlds at once. The dream world had left its mark, lingering on her skin, in her thoughts, in the way her heartbeat quickened at the slightest memory. Walking home, she felt a shiver run down her spine. Across the street, a young man with striking blue eyes passed her. Her heart skipped a beat. No… just coincidence, she told herself, but her pulse betrayed her. The memory of his touch, his lips, the way he had held her everything felt seared into her body. At her apartment, she locked the door behind her, leaning against it for a moment, trying to steady herself. Tomorrow… maybe tomorrow I’ll understand what this dream is trying to tell me. As night fell, sleep came reluctantly, teasing her with shadows of the blue-eyed stranger. The dream world called again, seductive and insistent, promising more than mere pleasure—it promised a reality she didn’t yet understand. And to her greatest surprise she saw him again…this time he stood in front of her room eyes burning with desire.
