In my protective mode, I grabbed Adrian and held him close. His body was so stiff and with each scream, his muscles would contort, then, blood spurted from his mouth. My whole front and arms dripped with its metallic scent which coated the air thick. It was more than I could take. With so much blood around, Kane was going into hunger mode.
“Kane, snap out it and do something, will you!” I dug my nails into his leg. That got him out of his euphoric state fast.
“I don’t know what to do. He can do things I never heard of or seen!”
