The one that never got caught!

Detective Davis is a tall dark haired man with piercing green eyes that would make any woman weak to her knees, but he is married to his job and never looks at any woman except his Deputy Sarah who makes his blood boil sometimes. They lived in a little quiet town on the outskirts of Florida called Fanning Springs. It was a sunny day at Fanning Springs all the people were busy with their everyday lives when terrible news broke through the whole town. There was a BODY found in the river outside the town. Detective Davis and Deputy Sarah were already at the scene when all the people came to see what was going on. The police kept the people away while the Detective and Deputy gathered evidence to see if this was a single murder or will it continue into multiple murders. Spotting a serial killer is easy in this day and age they always leave clues. This specific killer left a red heart cutted into the victim's right shoulder. After gathering all the evidence the Detective and Deputy go back to the office to gather their thoughts. Sarah asks Mason what do you think of this whole new killer in town business. Mason frowns and looks up at her blue eyes. A smile forms while he says you know your cute when your scared and starts chuckling. Sarah's eyes feel like daggers as she gets mad at Mason for his comments. Mason still chuckling says to Sarah relax I'm just messing with you, but on a more serious note as he stops laughing I think we should keep our ears and eyes open for this new killer. We don't know if he will strike again so we need to be careful. Sarah stares at him with one eyebrow raised and asks how do you know that the killer is a he there was no evidence of the gender of the killer. Mason starts laughing again you really believe a woman could pull of a murder like this one, he is laughing so much at the thought he nearly fell to the floor. Sarah looks at him angrily and says you are being sexist a woman is capable of anything even MURDER and she storms out of his office. She sits by her desk and thinks what a silly man to think that a woman could not have done something like this we'll just have to wait and see about that. Mason sits in his office confused on what happenend and in shock. Could the killer be a WOMAN.....
