Grayson woke up with massive morning wood. It didn't help that his mate was grinding her bottom into his groin in her sleep. She moaned lightly in her sleep and grabbed his hand that was on her hip, interlocking their fingers. This was the most amazing feeling to wake up to, but also pure torture not being able to touch her and have his way with her.

"Mmmm, Gray," Jo released his hand and turned to face him, "I'm so happy you're still here." JoLynn reached up and lightly brushed his brown hair behind his ear, "I really want to kiss you."

"Good, because I'm quickly losing my restraint." Their lips met in the fury of desire. Gray nipped at her bottom lip before running his tongue along her lips and diving in. JoLynn swiped her tongue into his mouth, needing more and more. Before he realized what was happening, she rolled Gray onto his back and straddled him. He held her tightly against himself, griping her hips in his big hands.

JoLynn started to rock back and forth against his throbbing erection, while continuing to kiss her way down his neck. Grayson caught the scent of her arousal in the air, and it started to drive Max crazy in his head. This was killing him, he wanted to have her so badly, to mark her and make her his. Grayson started running his hands up Jojo's sides, trying not to take off her tank top. "Goddess Jojo, you are killing me right now. You're so beautiful; I can't wait to mark this soft neck of yours. To mate with you and make you all mine." Gray rolled Jo until she was under him and began nipping at her ear lobe.

"Oh Gray, I know we should stop this but I want you so bad. My body can't get enough of your touch, it's like I'm on fire. I've never felt like this before but I know we need to slow down." JoLynn was right, they did need to slow down but Gray was hypnotized by her body. She was so soft in his arms; her lips were perfectly molded to his. Of course they were perfect for his lips, she was his fated mate and one true Luna. Gray knew he needed to be the strong Alpha now and slow this down; it is what his mate wanted and needed even if her body didn't.

Leaning in, he gave Jojo one hard last kiss before pulling away, "Ok baby, I am going to be the strong one and end this." He rolled off of her and back onto his side of the bed. "I shouldn't have stayed last night and put you in this position in the first place. I'm so sorry my sweet."

"I'm a big girl Gray, if I wanted to stop you from staying I would have. I should apologize for instigating this morning; your scent just took over me and I was too sleepy to fight it."

"Do you want us to come up with some ground rules for now? Especially before we decide to tell people we are mates," Gray asked her. He wasn't fond of the idea of rules deciding how he was with his mate, but he also knew she needed to be comfortable with everything. Gray wanted her to just focus on growing their bond and getting used to the idea of being the new Luna.

"Maybe that is a good idea, but I also know we need to be able to spend time together. We need to reaquaint with each other to make sure this can work," she replied.

"Ok, we can spend time together, but maybe keep it to activities we would normally do. We always used to go on runs or hikes on the trails. We can keep up with that."

She started to get a smile on her face, "I like where you are going. Oh, we would often chill and swim in the creek on hot summer days, granted you weren't so delicious then." JoLynn leaned over and gave him a small kiss on the lips. Staying with her last night had definitely softened her towards Grayson.

"Oh yes, swimming in the creek," the thought of Jo in a bikini was intriguing. "Will our swims be clothing optional? I propose the rule they be no clothing swims."

"You are trouble young man, but I'm sure I could be persuaded," she kissed him again. "I agree with everything so far. The only thing I could possibly think of as well is making sure we treat each other the same. Make sure we talk to each other like we always would; people will be able to tell if we are talking lovey to each other."

"So I have to continue to treat you like my little sister when all I want to do is have my way with you," Grayson smirked. "I can limit my mushy pet names for you, my sweet Luna."

"Ok smart a**...get your clothes on and go back to your room. I have to take a shower and get to breakfast before my mom comes looking for me."

"Fine, but one last thing," Gray stopped her before she went into the bathroom and took her into his arms, "Happy 18th Birthday my sweet Jojo." He kissed her lightly on the lips before making his way nibbling along to her ear. "I want you to know I am very happy you are my mate and future Luna. I will do everything in my power to make our lives together amazing."

"Thank you Gray, I am happy you are my mate as well," she looked up at him with apologetic eyes, "I want you to know that I am sorry for trying to reject you. I honestly don't know what I was thinking."

"It's over with and no need to apologize. Enjoy your shower and I will see you later, maybe take a walk on the trails." He hugged her tight again and kissed her forehead. Grayson put his clothes on quickly and headed up to his suite; he wanted to try and surprise Jo with something for her birthday.

This morning had taken JoLynn by surprise, it was like she woke up as another person. She couldn't stop herself from basically attacking Grayson, luckily he was into it as much as she was. She was also thankful that Gray had more self control in stopping them from going to far. He had a good idea with some ground rules, now they just had to follow them, or bend them a bit.

After showering and getting ready, she went out to grab something small for breakfast.

"Happy Birthday baby girl!" said Jo's mom, "what do you want for your birthday dinner tonight?"

"Um...I would love a spaghetti with meat sauce and garlic bread. Uncle Jackson wasn't a big pasta fan, so we didn't eat it often," JoLynn replied. "Do you think Grayson might want to join us? Lane and I were hanging out with him last night, so he knows it's my birthday today."

"I'll link Lane to bring Gray with him for dinner. Make sure you are here and ready by 7pm," replied Aspen.

"Yes ma'am. I'm just going to reacquaint myself with the pack lands and everything so I won't be far."

"Before you leave sweetie, did you meet your wolf last night?" her mom asked.

"Yes I did, but have not shifted yet. Her name is Lyra and she seems to have quite a sense of humor already."

"Yeah, now I can just yell at you through mindlink," Aspen said excitedly.

"Gee thanks mom. I'll talk to you later."

Grayson was looking out his private office window on the 5th floor when he saw her. Jojo was sneaking off to the woods by herself, probably going for a run. If her gift was done he would be running after her. Advantage to having a friend in the human town that owns a jewelry store, Gray made a rush request first thing this morning for later today. It would be noon soon and the second Hank arrived with her gift, he would go hunt Jo down. Gray was too busy staring at his mate's sexy a** as she walked away to hear her brother come into the office.

"Hey man, what you looking at?" asked Lane. Before Grayson could turn away and brush it off, Lane caught his line of sight. "Dude, are you watching my sister like a creep?" He punched Gray in the shoulder somewhat playfully.

"No! I was taking a break and I saw her walking away. It just got me thinking about what she said last night," Gray paused. "Was she really picked on that much when we were kids? I feel bad that I just don't really remember it."

"She was teased and tormented a lot but she never wanted you to know how bad it was," Lane replied. "She didn't want any of us to know, I only knew she was because I finally witnessed it one day afterschool. She ran off to the woods crying and I followed her; it was her go to place when she wanted to be alone." As Lane spoke Gray's hands clenched into fists, someone hurt his sweet Luna and he wanted them to pay badly.

"Let me guess, you won't tell me who it is that has been so hurtful to her?"

"Gray, please don't make me betray my sister. I cannot refuse you as my Alpha, but as my best friend I hope you don't put me in that position," Lane looked pleadingly at his friend. "I will tell you it was more than one person, and please believe me when I say I have no intention of letting it get as far as before. I lost basically 8 years with my baby sister and I do not intend to lose anymore."

Gray reached over and threw his arm around Lane, "don't worry man, I won't make you betray Jojo. I think I will have a discussion with her at some point though, see if I can get her to open up a little." They broke apart and walked back to his desk to sit down. "Did you need something or just come by for fun?"

"Yes, I wanted to double check the training schedules and determine when we wanted to start phasing in some of the new things we learned."

Grayson pulled up the new digital schedule and calendaring system they started using and set up all the new trainings. His father wasn't as much into technology, using only the aspects he had to like email, but Lane and himseld are upgrading everything. They got to work on training schedules as well as making sure the calendar was updated for the whole pack. It would be a while before they were done and Gray was hoping Hank would be there by then.
