A wolfless omega. A maid in Alpha Draven’s mansion. A nobody.

Until the night he claimed her in secret—marking her, taking her virginity, and leaving her with his child.

For one breathless moment, she thought she was chosen. Loved.

Then Draven shattered her—standing before the entire pack to introduce her only friend, Elara, as his true mate instead.

Bonded to an alpha who will never truly be hers, Cassia’s heartbreak is complete when she returns home to find her brother dead.

Alone. Unprotected. Hunted by grief.

She runs.

Straight into the path of a mysterious male wolf who saves her life and becomes her guide… Alpha Theron, a man who vows to win her heart.

But just as Cassia begins to heal, Draven comes back—not for love, but because he needs her.

As two powerful alphas clash for her fate, Cassia begins to unravel the web of lies that has ruled her life.

An ancient prophecy awakens in her blood.

A fire long buried ignites.

She was born to be broken.

Now she’s coming back to break them all.

When the past collides with the present, who will she give her heart to?

The shocking News
The great hall was silent as all gathered, nobles and servants alike. Madam Julian came out and announced for everyone to come together for the briefing from Alpha Draven himself, but I didn't see Elara anywhere around. Alpha Draven stood on the dais, flanked by elders. His eyes scanned the crowd. With the clarity of my mind came hope as I smiled. “My mate had always lived among all of you, but you didn't know it, and now it's time to unveil her to everyone here,” He declared as he paused a bit, cleared his throat, and glanced at everyone's eyes except mine. My mind mingled with hope and fear. Even though I thought his actions were quite odd, I couldn't suppress the rush of warmth at the confirmation of the fact that he was not lying. He was truly my mate. “And her name is Elara.” He said finally, and I felt my perfect world crumble to the dust as I landed on my knees. My breath left my body like a punch to the gut as I let out a painful sound, “Noooo!!,” I had not known I was screaming unstill everyone turned to look at me. Gasps echoed. Elara stepped forward from nowhere, glowing, victorious. I knelt there in sorrow and amusement as it dawned on me. I looked up at my so-called friend; she was smiling coyly, “Elara, how could you?” Elara huffed at the wounded look in my eyes. “How couldn't I? You always acting like you are better than everyone, you this worthless omega!” She scoffed. “But Ela–Elara why….?” I choked out unable to make sense of my jumbled thoughts. I only knew that her words were like sharp blades cutting through my soul. And wait, something else was weird; Kaikos had gone deathly quiet; I just hoped I hadn't lost her just as soon as I had found her. Just then, a sound came interrupting my thoughts, “Touching,” Ronan drawled, stepping forward from the noble ranks. His green eyes glinted with venom as silence rippled across the crowd. “Our Alpha has chosen a Luna most worthy. Truly, a perfect union… if not for the stain on it.” The pack murmured, heads turning as Ronan unfurled something from beneath his cloak—a crumpled bundle of blood-stained sheets. “These,” he said, his voice slicing through the hush, “were taken from Alpha Draven’s chambers last night. Their scent is unmistakable.” Gasps broke out. The tension in the air thickened. Ronan’s smile sharpened as two guards dragged forward a trembling maid. “And here is a witness, who saw the servant girl enter his rooms… and not leave until dawn.” Every head turned. The whispers built into a storm until I felt them crush against me like waves. Fingers pointed. Voices hissed. Draven’s jaw tightened. For a single heartbeat, his dark eyes flickered toward me—haunted, uncertain. My heart leapt, hope sparking against the weight of humiliation. He’ll defend me. He has to. Then his voice fell like ice. “Lies!” He stepped closer to Elara, “There is no bond between me and… her.” He spat the last word, and the crowd sneered in agreement. “She is nothing. Just a worstless servant and wolfless omega grasping for more than her station,” He turned to Ronan, “Do not sully this ceremony with such filth, Ronan!!” My chest constricted. My ears rang, my vision blurred. I couldn’t breathe. The man who had held me, marked me, whispered promises against my skin now stood before his entire pack and declared her nothing. Ronan’s smirk widened, satisfaction glittering in his eyes. His trap had snapped shut, and Draven himself had tightened the jaws. “I knew you couldn't, Alpha.” He replied. “My Alpha,” she purred loud enough for the hall to hear, “how noble of you to cast away such… shameful lies.” Her gaze flicked toward Cassia, dripping with mockery. “A Luna must be pure. Worthy. Not some desperate omega clinging to fantasies.” she said as her hand tightening on Draven’s arm as though staking her claim not just on him, but on my destruction. Laughter erupted among the pack, Taunts filled the hall. And in that moment, the bond I thought was unbreakable shattered into pieces. I swayed, the jeers of the pack crashing around me as I stumbled through the back doors of the grand hall. My feet carried me blindly through the stone corridors, past startled servants who whispered and stared, until I was outside beneath the cold night sky. My legs shook as I ran across the grounds, away from the lights, away from the cruel eyes. There was only one place my mind reached for, one person who had never failed her. Kai. My lovely little brother, my anchor, the one soul who had always believed i was more than the world said i was. If I could just see him, just hear his voice, maybe I wouldn’t feel like my heart was splitting into pieces. As I neared the servants’ quarters, the faint murmur of voices reached my ears. Whispers, sharp and hushed, broke the usual silence. The sound grew louder with every step. My pace slowed, “What’s going on? Why are they all outside?” The narrow path opened into the servants’ courtyard—and there they were. A cluster of maids and stable boys stood huddled in a tight circle, their faces pale, their voices trembling. Some wept openly, others covered their mouths, too shocked to speak. My heart stopped. “Move,” I choked, shoving past them. My hands shook violently as I forced my way through the crowd. And then I saw him. Kai.
