DENVER’S POV
I held my breath, unable to believe my eyes. I just stared blankly, my mouth slightly agape and then my heart began to beat rapidly.
“Is this a dream?” I asked in shock.
He looked as confused as I was.
Then I realised that I had been so dumb to say that aloud.
He looked exactly like the boy in my dreams. He had green eyes, dark hair and a well built body. He was tall and he looked familiar.
I had seen him in my dreams, but yet it felt like he looked like someone that I had known.
The aura hanging around him was so powerful. It was like it was drawing me to him.
He had on a grey T-shirt and I could see the outline of his muscular body in it. He had a pair of jeans on and a duffel bag slung over his arm.
He took a step back.
“Don’t.” I said stopping him right in his tracks.
“I’m sorry.” He apologised to me with a friendly grin and then I saw it. The dimples. I knew immediately that I was hundred percent sure he was the one in my dreams. But how?
“I shouldn’t just walk into people without saying hi.” He smiled at me.
I just stared at him blankly.
“It’s just that you’re so beautiful.” He said so clearly I knew he was being truthful.
I wanted to say something, but then I couldn’t find my words.
“Thank you.” I said after a short while of looking very stupid.
Then I saw him walk up to me and I didn’t stop him this time. My heart was beat so fast. Racing, and I was sweating.
It felt like my body was going to disintegrate. The butterflies in my tummy were flying all over, causing a complete havoc.
And then he was so close to me, there was barely any distance between us. And it felt like nothing but strong De ja vu.
And before I knew it, he bent his lips over mine and kissed me. It was so powerful. It was like electricity was going in and out of me and yet still flowing through me.
He put his tongue inside my mouth and I moaned out in pleasure. It was so sweet, and yet so bitter. So right and yet, so strong.
The paradox of everything was just so overwhelming.
I pulled him closer to me hungrily as we kissed fiercely. It was like I wanted more. It was as if we had known each other for years and years more.
And then it dawned on me. What the hell was I doing? I snapped back to reality and pushed him away from me.
By the time we were both separated, I could tell that we were both equally breathless.
He looked up at me and then I looked at him and before any more damage could be done, I ran away.
I rushed through the crowd and back into house where I found my way into the bathroom.
I rushed in and then I came to a halt at the mirror. I was still terribly breathless.
What the hell had I done?! God! I had just kissed a random stranger.
I had just kissed someone who was not my own boyfriend.
I felt the guilt pierce into my soul. Jack would never forgive me if he ever found out.
And what was more, this was the stranger from my dreams. I could not believe it. How was this even possible? Had he just magically appeared into my life?
I took in very deep breaths of concentrations took relax myself.
After a while I tried to calm myself. I genuinely wanted to just go back home and get the hell out of here.
Once I got out of the bathroom, I ran right into Jack.
“Hey, where have you been? I have been looking all over for you.” He told me.
I sighed weakly. “Oh, I just went to the bathroom that’s all.”
I was such a liar. I wondered if he could see through me that I was lying and I had just cheated on him.
He frowned at me. “Are you sure? You don’t really look so good to me.”
I laughed a very dry and terrible laugh, that sounded so fake even to my ears.
“Oh no I am perfectly fine.” I said.
“I am so sorry that I left you behind. I had somethings to settle with an outside pack.” He told me.
“Oh, that’s ok. As you see, I am fine. You didn’t really have to worry about me.” I laughed.
“Are you sure you’re okay?” He asked me with a raised brow in suspicion. “You don’t sound like yourself.”
Before I could explain myself, I heard a deep voice.
“Jack.”
I looked back and right before me was the boy who I had just kissed. The boy with whom I had cheated on Jack with.
My mouth dropped in disbelief. Jack knew him? Oh my God, he was going to tell him what had happened.
I started to sweat heavily again and my body was shaking in anxiety.
When I looked back up at Jack’s face, his face was grim. Or what was it? Did Jack already know?
As I was brooding in fear. I heard London and Rhea scream.
“Ash!” They said together and to my absolute amazement, they ran to him and threw his arms around him and hugged.
My mouth dropped further again. What the actual hell was going on?
“You’re back home.” They said as they hugged him.
Back home? Back home from where? From where?
I looked up to Jack for an explanation.
“What are you doing here?” Jack asked him sharply
Ash grinned. “I can’t come by to see my family anymore?”
They were quiet.
“Denver this is our brother Ash.” Rhea dropped the biggest bomb shell of the year.
Now I could understand why I had thought he looked so familiar. He looked like Jack.
He looked back at me and I swallowed hard.
