JACK’S POV
Jack watched as Denver got into the house.
Her aunts were looking at him angrily.
“I like you Jack. I just hope you haven’t done anything to upset my niece.” Lucy warned him.
Then they got into the car and left.
Jack just sat down there in his car. He felt bad that he had behaved the way he just did with Denver, but she had to understand.
He had done it to protect her.
What the hell was Ash doing back down here in Brookville? He and Ash were twin brothers yes, they were not identical, but then they had absolutely nothing in common. Nothing!
His brother was irresponsible and never took any of his duties seriously, but somehow their mother always had a way of supporting him.
That was what he hated the most.
Ash would misbehave and at the end, it was almost always
