So that was it. That was the top main reason why I was dreading going to that house. His mother was a terror of course, but seeing his brother again was something I was running from.
And quite frankly, Jack seemed to be nonchalant about it. Well, the thing was I didn’t want to ask him any questions about Ash because he seemed like he really did not want to talk about it.
Even when I asked he replied off handed you and I did not want to push it. What if he noticed that I was asking too many questions.
I could not help it. And so I was stuck. I felt terribly guilty that I cheated on Jack. He did not deserve it.
