~After the summit~

I’ve been disgraced, Ezra had the nerve to send me back in a different vehicle with some nobody warrior and Ansel.

I can’t believe he found his mate, I’m sick to my stomach about it. I almost had him, I knew he’d never make me his Luna, at least not of his own free will. But to have his heir, to be the mother of the next Alpha would come with just as many perks and none of the work.

Then he made me take that stupid pill. I went to my witch friend she dabbles in the dark arts for the right price. I went to her before we left for the Summit she doesn’t live far from our pack.

She told me that those pills, were what he said and were created by some werewolf scientists and those were an effective prototype. She said there was no chance I would be pregnant by him.

So I figured at the summit I’d get him late at night a few times cause Ezra could go for rounds. I’ve been with plenty of wolves, humans, and even a Fae male. He just had the stamina of a God. I don’t love Ezra or anything but the s*x alone makes me want to keep him.

My plans were spoiled when he met that thing he calls mate. She’s not even that pretty. I’m gorgeous compared to her, I’m thin and my hair is extraordinary, and my beautiful blue eyes. I’m always dressed impeccably. She had some nice outfits at the summit but she’s NOT Luna material. Especially if her existence is interfering with my plans.

To make matters worse Ezra had me moved back into my old apartment. The nerve of him to take my pack house suite away. I’m sick of this girl. I was also denied any access to the Alpha floor and the staff code was changed every day so I couldn’t even keep up with it.

I noticed he didn’t come right back to the pack after the summit. I overheard Ansel and Wilson talking about how Frederick and Ezra were going to get their mates things. That’s right Frederick was mated to her sisters. I’ve never slept with Frederick but he was pretty hot, if Ezra wasn’t my main goal I’d give him a go.

It's been a week now since she’s been here and all I hear is talk of her. It’s sickening, truly the most annoying gossip ever. I’m currently at the doctor's office waiting for my appointment and I can overhear the receptionists and a nurse gossiping.

“ Did you see the Luna came this morning to do rounds, she’s been meeting with the doctors and the head of the departments to see what’s needed for the hospital, something about a new wing” one girl whispered.

“ Oh no, she must have left before my shift started, she’s so pretty, and I love her style, such a fashionista. Her outfits are always amazing. My cousin said she spoke to her at the welcome party”.

The other one said I could help but gag, pretty, fashionista, oh please. She’s a hermit compared to me and I’ll make them see that.

“Melbourne”. The nurse called jerking me out of my thoughts.

“So Ms. Melbourne what brings you in”? The doctor asked.

“I’ve been feeling sick, dizzy mostly I’m not sure why”. He drew some blood had me pee in a cup and left. About thirty minutes later he came back in.

“ Sorry for the wait, Ms. Melbourne I wanted to wait for all your labs to come back. Well it seems as though you are pregnant, congratulations. We can have a look to see how far along you are”.

I nodded, I was pregnant, but how the pill I thought to myself. The nurse wheeled in some little contraption with a screen. “ Nurse Darlene will stay in here since I have to perform an internal sonogram, it will be a bit uncomfortable, just breathe and try and relax.

He moved it around for a while then I saw a flicker on the screen. That’s your baby, healthy and with a strong heartbeat, it looks to be a week and a half along. He stated.

A week and a half that would put us back at the summit or Ezra’s office. “ I’m sure your mate will be so excited”. I’m not mated I said quickly, the energy in the room quickly shifted. “ Oh I apologize…I made an assumption.” The doctor rushed out.

“ No need, I just need Darlene over there to leave I have questions for you,” I said.

She quickly left and I cleaned up got dressed and met him in his office where he had vitamins waiting for me.

“ So you have questions”? He asked nervously.

“ I’m going, to be frank with you doctor, my partner and I are no longer together, so I want to know my options”.

“ Oh well, there’s adoption but that’s harder to obtain since there are so many orphans from, rogue attacks. This early on I can perform an abortion but the Alpha would have to be informed.”

“OK next question, I was given a plan B pill for wolves to fast acting you know. How likely is it that this baby is from that time.”

“Well, if you took it right after the intercourse or even the same day, this baby wasn’t conceived that day it lasts for twenty-four hours.”

I left the doctor’s office confused then it hit me that this baby was Casey’s. s**t. s**t, s**t. I yelled as I drove to my witchfriend'ss house.

“ I’M PREGNANT”. I yelled to heras soon as I walked in.

“By the Alpha, I thought you said he found his mate, he slept with you again?

No you i***t, by that c**t obsessed Beta from High Tide pack.

She just looked at me with her hands on her hips. “ I didn’t mean to call you i***t, I’m just pissed”. In all the times Ezra has f*****d me raw and I get pregnant by the Beta. Do you think Ezra is steril?.”

“ Highly doubt it, it’s more likely he’s been slipping you the pills or pulling out.” She replied.

What am I going to do I can’t have my figure ruined by some Beta Bastard baby. It just won’t do, I need you to performand abortion, the doctor will inform Ezra and Casey might want his baby, wolves are possessive like that.

“That’s fine or we could use this to get in between the Alpha and his Luna”.

“How Alphas can sniff their kin even in utero.”

“That’s right you dogs and your keen senses. Can you get something that belongs to him, sweat, hair anything biological, I can make a potion that if you drink itevery day the baby will smell like him enough to trick him.”

“It took days but eventually I was able to get his sweaty towel after his workout.”

I drank the potion for the first time it was disgusting, I’m not truly sure how I’m supposed to keep taking this with pregnancy taste buds. Then I started to cramp badly, the pain was so bad was curled up in a ball, for what seemed like hours.

“Don’t worry this is just your body getting acclimated to the magic” she said with a sneer.

It’s been days since I started taking the potion I’m no longer falling over after drinking the potion. I needed to get the ball rolling on my plans.

I went to Ezra’s office and walked in and of course, the b***h was here. Well, even better I get to see her face when I break her heart.
